Weight in the ring on last fight -
    FMJ - 148, JMM - 140

Planned weight in the ring (Marquez looks at adding 4-6lbs) -
    FMJ - 148, JMM - 145
    Height - FMJ - 5-8 JMM - 5-7
    Reach - FMJ
    Career Start Weight - FMJ - 130, JMM - 126
    Career Best Weight - FMJ - 130-140, JMM - 126-135
    Fights in last 12months - FMJ - 0 JMM - 2

So Floyd's a bit bigger, not by a huge amount, but why is it a mismatch if JMM is LW King and P4P no3? Shouldn't a Pac fight also be a mismatch given Marquez won at least 15 out of 24rounds against Pacquaio?

    Simple. Records show:

Pac KOd dela Hoya in the 10th round
    Floyd SD dela Hoya

Pac KOd Hatton in 2 rounds
Floyd KOd Hatton in 10 rounds in competitive fight.

    Pac defeated Marquez twice.
Floyd has yet to defeat Marquez

Ergo, Pac has better career records against common opponents. Additionally, Marquez has nothing to show of a win in the l40-l47 weight divisions.

  3. It will only be a rematch if they fight again.

We are talking about the weight division he fought not the weight he had at fight night.

Not only my opinion but the judges' opinions. The draw would have been declared SD in favor of Pac had the errant judge corrected her error in scoring, 10-6 instead of 10-7. The 2nd fight was a SD decision for Pac. Whether you agree or not, the decision of judges prevails. :deal

Going back to my post that you quoted, Pac has better career records against common opponents than Floyd. I won't be surprised if Pac will be the favorite if they ever fight after Marquez because of Pac's style of fighting and his vast skills improvement.
