Why is Froch ducking Pavlik?

Pavlik ? Did you sit in a cave for the last 4 years ?
Pavlik got an alcohol problem and have not been in shape
in an of his fights since Taylor

 

Pavlik is a very hard hitting guy who was the first to beat Taylor, not once but twice.
He's got some binge drinking and not the best prior training issues but if he can lay off the booze, stay clean and work on and learn some things I think he could give anyone a good fight. They are both bangers... it makes sense, if Kelly is serious.

A lot of the things you say you see now, Boo was pointing out already when Kelly was still with Loew. His hook was under utilized but there. He's always picked off punches people thought he was getting hit with.

But to answer the question? BECAUSE HE IS A FULL FLEDGED SMW NOW! Starting with Calslappy all the SMW's started calling him out. Calslappy before he did his first freaking title defense. atsch Now that he is SMW, crickets.

Well, OK, MAYBE Kelly became irrelevant because of his problems and the SS.

But he's got Kessler on his plate next. . He wants to avenge that loss. . . After the Sigmon fight, let Pavlik fight Edwin Rodriguez. . If he beats him, then that would be an EXCELLENT fight between Froch, and Pavlik. . Win or lose against Kessler, I guarantee Froch would be all up for the Pavlik fight next.

He said he always wanted to fight in Las Vegas, so hopefully they could make that fight in Vegas. . Doubt he'd be willing to go back to USA just to fight at Boardwalk Hall again. . . But Vegas, I bet he travels. . But Kelly should be more than willing to go to Nottingham since Froch is the champion, and would be able to offer him more money than Pavlik could prolly offer Froch for coming to the states.

 

To me in the Miranda and Taylor and even his fight with Zertuche, he just seemed like he plotted forward drove you back and un leashed hell on you.
Here I do see better footwork, more frequent use of the left hook and most importantly Kelly is picking and placing his shots.... as long as he can stay straight, this version will be better than the last.

 

Because Froch isn't going to waste his time with a guy who let Jack Daniels KTFO him right out of relevency.

As for Pavlik trying to butt in, he needs to get relevant again. His stock is way down promotion wise.

 

Let him earn it before he starts calling out the champ. The sanctioning bodies don't call for it. The bulk of the fans want the Kessler rematch. Only Kelly.. Let him get some meaningful wins first and create some noise otherwise people will be claiming that Froch beat on and old, ex drunk version

 

So why was Froch calling him out when Kelly was MW champ. WTF had Froch done at MW to earn a shot? Kelly too big for him now that he's the same weight? This **** cuts both ways.

The only time I heard froch talk pavlik was when he had just won his first title against pascal. He discussed him as an option, nothing more, and went onto fight taylor. Pavlik having previously lost to bhop.

Not sure froch was ever interested in going down to middleweight whilst he was trying to become champ at super middle...
