He hasn't become a household name because boxing is not any where near as popular with the British public as it was 5-7 years ago. Itv lost interest in helping to build stars as soon as they realised what a cash cow wank factor was. Bingo. Plus he doesn't play up to the man of the people personna like wicky. He's just a straight up warrior who is proving you don't always need a tv friendly personality to fight the best, and earn respect with the people who matter; the hardcore fans. Plus sky ****ed about too long with khan/hatton/haye and domestic level ppv shows. It's a shame
straight up warrior???straight up bellend i think and thats coming from someone who lives not 2 far away from him and that says something if his hometown fans dont like him
I think its partly down to Froch, apparantly he doesnt like the constant interviews and Promotion work so he only has himself to blame.. Big Mick is to blame as well but i think he didnt lean on Froch to do the PR work, Hearn demands it.
That's harsh really. You can't dispute he is a warrior and takes up top challenges. You might not like his personality and that sir is your prerogative. But you can't say the guy isn't a warrior and a credit to our fair island. By the way, do you speak for all people in Nottingham? I think not
I cringe every time I hear him refer to himself as that. Don't know why but it just bugs the crap out of me and he seems to say it in every feckin interview!
Yeah, I can understand why it might **** people off. But it ain't no lie. What would you have him say? Yeah, I'm a boxer who is afraid of no mother ****er. Ima bring it like a real G. Froch, regardless of whether you like his style or personality is a man to champion. Dedicated, always in TOP shape, and holds his own against TOP guys in his division. He is flying the flag. I know some people are not patriotic, but I am. WAR FROCH!
Fair enough, although I don't fully understand the reasons. But it's your opinion and you're more than entitled to it
