Why is Fundora having a 6 month lay off?

It is NOT standard practice for a broken nose to receive a 6 month suspension. This is PBC antics...again. Theyre trying to freeze Bud out. Again. Cus if he whoops Fundora now that leaves them with nothing except Benavidez.

First of all, where is it written?
Secondly, you are proposing a conspiracy where the PBC has bribed athletic commission officials to slightly extend Fundora´s suspension. In some vain hope that the Bud mandatory would be cancelled?
Take a second to realize how ridiculous you sound. And what for? A little known title holder might loose his belts to Bud? Bud whose last fight was a PPV success? If anything, they should welcome the Bud fight. It´s a money maker.

Also, the suspension isn´t written in stone. Fundora can get cleared sooner. If Fundora can not uphold the WBO mandatory due to an injury that is backed by the athletic commission, then the WBO can grant an extension.

 Fundora and Tszyu are not the ones keeping PBC floating. They need to make every big fight they can, not some small PPV´s that maybe reach 100k buys.

Let me clean up this mess

Fundora rematches Tszyu next for the WBO title

    Crawford fights Super Boots

The WBC strip Fundora of their belt and Bohachuk is upgraded from interim to full champ because contrary to prevailing narratives he's the one who got screwed the hardest

Spence challenges Bohachuk for the WBC title and he can think himself very lucky given he's coming off a one-sided KO loss at 147 and isn't even ranked at 154

Crawford can fight the winner of Fundora vs Tszyu II if he beats Super Boots

All i know is that Bud will lose his #1 p4p status in a month or so....just too inactive. Not that he really cares anymore.

Find one example ever in the past that a broken nose needed 6 months of medical exemption.

    Just one.

Sadly you're right and I see a lot of people making excuses for him as to why he shouldn't have to fight him on social media

Let's hope this delay encourages a fight between Crawford and Boots.

Depending on the severity of the injury and if it's a single or double nostril fracture, you can be out for years with broken nostrils. You should be able to return to action within six months after suffering one broken nostril but it can take a lot longer if you suffer two broken nostrils aka a double nostril fracture

His busted nose needs to heal, and perhaps he might need some minor surgery on it. Six months is a long time though. It seems to ne way more time than is necessary but I'm not a medical professional.
