Why is Fury scared to fight Usyk?

OK, come on guys usyk has skills but he's hardly a monster at heavy is he, just lol

Fury doesn't lose to usyk, fury negates everything usyk does with his size that he's learnt to utilise better over the years, usyk will be buried under furys moobs for 12 lol

 

He knows Usyk is going to tap that Traveller @ss and bring his entire world crumbling down.

 

He's not a huge man at heavy, no... And as you say, he does have a lot of skill.

The real question mark is Fury - what has he really beaten since his return? A massively overhyped and protected fighter in Wilder and declining fighter who was only ever (at best) a fringe contender in Whyte.

During that time, Usyk has dealt relatively comfortably with the top dog in the division, with a better resume than Wilder and Whyte put together.

Not many people are putting Usyk as an ATG, H2H nightmare at heavy (arguably both at cruiser, though)... The real question is why on earth anyone is treating Fury as if he is an ATG, H2H nightmare in his current condition when easily the best night of his career was a stinkout against a gunshy Klitschko the best part of a decade ago.

 

Thats why Fury is ducking him. He doesnt want the general opinion on him to change from this vitali type h2h beast with an undefeated record to exposed hypejob with a weak resume.

His self worth relies on being that fantasy champ in his head. Fury is smart when it comes to boxing and how is perceived by fans. He knows Usyk is a bad style match up for him due to what happpened with Steve Cunningham. Risk of him getting schooled is too big so he prefers to avoid Usyk completely, hope he gets beat or to age him out. While Fury aged his body badly with his lifestyle, Usyks fightingstyle will age faster than his and he will stil be a huge man that can fight tall.

Is usyk the most over hyped HW of all time?

The guy has fought 4 average guys at HW in 4 years and people talk like he's this ATG monster!
And those average guys hes fought had some success in parts, hardly an hard to hit elusive fighter some seem to think he is either, is he?
He made DDD and chisora look good in there at times ffs. Lol

People slate fury yet he's fought twice as much as usyk in the same time frame and fury retired in there somewhere too boot!

But hey, boxing fans love to hype and use narratives where it fits with fighters they swoon over like teenage girls, eh!

The hardest Usyk fans are behaving that way, but they are men. Seems the guy attracts a lot of Hungarian males.

 

Since 2015, Fury only defended his title three times and had a total of five title fights. He has defeated two top fighters in this time period - and that's very, VERY generous to consider a washed up, already twice brutally KOd Whyte a top fighter. On the other hand, Usyk became a champion two years ago. He defended his titles twice in two years against two top guys - the former unified champion whom Fury kept ducking for years, and then against a guy who is ten years younger than him and hits harder than anyone in the division bar Wilder.

Yes, talking about overhyped indeed... when you are talking about Fury.
