So he's in France training hard, trying to lose those fukk-handles and beer gut, why? Don't most training camps run 4-5 weeks prior to the fight?

I don't want big bad Fury to overtrain and come in at Cotto-weight of 155lbs on fight night :-( :nono

  4. Fury stays ready so he doesn't have to get ready. Don't you read the news about him? He is always fighting. He has to knock somebody out every week just to sleep better at night. There is a ripped up 6 pack underneath that slight flab.
Fury is a beast ready to break chin's and crack jaws.

He's read how long Marciano trained for his early defences.

Even if he was in shape, anything less than an 8 week camp before fighting Wlad would be crazy.
Probably looking at something like a 12 week camp

4-5 weeks is too little for a camp

Boxing yes 8 week camps are the norm, but most of your really good fighters who are at the top for many years (Hopkins/Mayweather/Klitschko) have to train hard in some capacity (stength/cardio) year round.
