This route seems to me the most problematic due to the Pacman blockage, and you would not want him picking up the Interim bauble. I accept Berto would be to bigger risk at this stage of Brook's career, but what about Jan Zaveck. He has no opponent for his 18/2 IBF defence in Slovenia and surely would jump at a big payday on a bumper bill in the UK. Would Viacheslav Senchenko come over here to defend his WBA strap?
Because the WBO are the only organization out of the "Big 4" stupid/ bent enough to have Kell Brook ranked. If he wanted to get a decent ranking with the other bodies he'd probably have to fight somebody decent and......
How did he secure WBA 140 shots for Gavin Rees & Amir Khan? Is M Hatton more worthy for a shot than Brook?
Maybe, just maybe, the WBA are bent as well? I'd say neither is worth of a title shot but if push came to shove I'd say Magic has clearly done more than Brook over the last couple of years. I'd rank him higher purely based on that. Either way Brook, for whatever reasons, is only ranked by the WBO, thats the reason Warren is going down that route.
The usual plan is to force the org to strip the champion..... but the WBO sure as hell won't strip Pacquiao. Frank should take the moral high ground and go for the IBF as they never do anything wrong. Ever. :hey
I'm not sure how big of a problem Pac Man is. For a start we don't know what weight he's going to fight at from now on and he's at a stage were he doesn't need or care about alphabet belts he could probably get stripped and wouldn't realise it.
Did you hear Frank on Ringside? Along the lines of Mayweather-Pac not happening is holding up other fighters like Kell Brook because Brook is WBO no.1 :rofl Frank expects Brook to be given the title on a plate when/if Pac vacates :nut
