Why is GG getting a free pass fighting a WW?

He's been waiting for that belt for 3 years now, I thought that was the only excuse Bumluvkinites made for his poor competition. Now that he has all 3 belts, he fights a domestic level WW in his next fight.. Lmfao.. You can't make this up

Well i have spoke to insiders who confirm it's all true. So you carry on with your blind hate and I will stick to facts.

    1. About the same size...NO! If they were, Lara would be cutting to 147 to fight the smallest possible guys he can, like every other fighter. Obviously he can't do it, even 36 hours before the fight.

    2. Slick, well, a journeyman like Carson Jones gave him fits twice.

    3. Better chin....Maybe, maybe not. Again, Lara has fought bigger, better fighters, and from my recolection he was only dropped by one of them, who is 6-1 175.

    4. Bigger punch...I'd say so, but again, its apples and oranges. Some guys (Rickey Hatton) are killers at one weight, and just don't bring it up.

I only really have one problem with the fight...the timing, GGG's ridiculous management has once again made him look like a fool taking this fight a month after criticizing the Canelo- Khan fight.

I bet when you go shopping you pick up some sugar, motor oil, a bag of compost and 50lb of potatoes. Then, just as the cashier rings up the last item you pack it back in the trolley. "Fooled you. All I wanted was this bottle of milk" :think

Makes sense, if you're insane. :nut:nut

I can see how your reasoning works, regarding the GGG/Brook fight.

It's funny watching GGG beat the **** out of hopelessly overmatched opponents. Checking the forum the next day is pretty sweet also. I hope he fights Rod Salka next 😎

The Eubank's don't operate like that.

I've been watching Snr for over 20 years.

    He would never keep quiet.

Jr only has 1-2 fights left on his contract.

Will repeat what I said earlier. Today I spoke with insiders and the GGG eubank fight was a done deal then Snr and his Mrs funked it up.

Because the untested prospect he wanted to fight didn't sign the contract.

What's worse than fighting a untested prospect? Fighting a midget two weight classes below.. LMFAO..

No matter who Bummy fights, it'll either be a bum, prospect, midget or shopworn fighter.

I'm 100% certain his next three opponents will consist of these type of fights.

How can you blame his management?

It would have been stupid to turn down the fight and the opportunity it gives him, to try and fight someone else instead, which would have jeopardised their plans for him to fight another twice this year on HBO.

As bad as the fight is, it was actually smart on their part to take this fight. HBO are happy.

Anybody with any sense knows that the circumstances between Canelo-Khan and GG-Brook are completely different.

He pursued Eubank as a keep busy fight because Canelo relinquished his belt to face Smith, and fights against Jacobs and BJS couldn't be made.

The only other alternative was to try and clear up a mandatory. And you'd have loved that wouldn't you. You wouldn't have criticised him at all.

Don't worry, I'll be bumping this thread to ridicule you in the not too distant future.

If he offered a catchweight then people would ask why he didn't fight Canelo at a catchweight.
