Why is GGG top 10 p4p and not Kovalev?

GG doesn't belong in the top 10 pfp period. You Pac fans think that because GG resembles Pac that he should be top 10 pfp, foh! Lol...

 

That's not what I said, I have at no point compared Murray to Hopkins but only to Pascal and I stated they were of similar level as opponents. My comment on Hopkins was about rejecting the argument that he was top level opposition where he's old and not one of the best guys you can face at LHW at this stage of his career when you have guys like Adonis, Beterbiev and so on. I'm not belittling Kovalev at all, I'm just saying him and GGG are very similar career-wise and not far apart P4P-wise.

And I even agree GGG is not top 10 on resume, however he's in all the rankings cause he dispatches with ease the kind of guys Sergio was struggling past in his p4p heyday

 

Totally disagree, for the record guererro was a better win then Murray... so was zaveck(former ibf champ) quintana(took pwills 0) beat Soto karass.

What former world champion has ggg beaten with a name?? Geale wasn't even a known fighter who lost to another unknown barker.... ouma? A long time ago...

I have Kovalev and Gonzalez as the p4p best fighters in the world today. Let's be honest. They probably beat anybody head to head if we could somehow have everybody the same size.

 

With a name? Gtfo. Zaveck is not even Geale level, gimme his best win. Not top 10. Quintana was washed up when Berto stopped him way back, had retired already. Nowhere near top 10. Guerrero is decent, but really a nonfactor at welter. His belts came at 126 and 130, and even those were weak, like way way weaker than Gggs.

Whatever. Above 154 its mostly euro bums. As I said, only one of those guys was top 10, barely. Its ridiculous you'd have Thurman p4p unless you only judge on talent, but then why cry over GGG s ranking.

 

I'd have him over GGG that's for sure but KOVALEV belongs in the p4p ranking while GGG does not..... unfortunately this is not a popularity contest, if it was GGG Would be no.1 p4p most popular fighter...
