Why is GGG top 10 p4p and not Kovalev?

Fortunately you don't put together any p4p rankings anyone cares about, since you don't seem to have any standards.

no I just don't nutt hug GGG like you do.... like I said unfortunately for his fanboys popularity does nothing for rankings.... you have to do what guys like Floyd, pacquaio, Bradley, wlad, Froch, Cotto, rigo, Gonzalez, kovalev etc do and that's beat top fighters.... GGG has failed to do so at this time and doesn't belong near p4p yet, despite what you think... fanboys shouldn't have an opinion

Then how can you have Thurman p4p with a much more meager resume? That's the lack of standards I was mentioning

Not with a single top 10 win, fringe one

GGG has consistently beat very good fighters in Murray, Geale, Rubio, Macklin, Stevens, Adama and Rosado. Yes some of them are just good fighters but I would say Murray is world class and Geale is not far from it.

Kovalev however is a very good fighter but has only beaten, Hopkins, Pascal, Cleverly, Silah and Caparello. Cleverly is a world class win, Pascal is a very good win, Hopkins is a good win but after that there is really nothing in terms of decent wins. The reason I say Hopkins is only a good win and I know people will disagree but people have been saying that Hopkins is past it for years. He is in decline and I believe 50 years old now so he is nowhere near the fighter he was and I just don't rate it as a great win regardless of the style it was done in.

Quintana, Zaveck, Chaves, Karass, Diaz, Bundu, Guerrero...

I wouldn't say he's ahead of Golovkin, but Thurman can't be far off the PFP list either.

Miles away from top 10 P4P, could become a great fighter but up till now he has an awful resume.

Pascal held wins over Dawson and Bute before the Kovalev fight, Murray held wins over who exactly before the Golovkin fight?

You consider that an awful resume? Thurmans resume really is no worse than Golovkins, both are decent but lacking any real stand out names

because p4p lists are almost always one or more of the following

    - ****
    - meaningless
    - biased
    - incredibly overwhelmingly subjective
    - illusions
    - corrupt
    - contradicting
    - ****

Oddly enough, the Triple Duck seems reluctant to face Hopkins @ 168.

    I wonder why...

Pascal's win over Dawson trumps ANY win on the Triple Duck's resume by a MILE...

Murray lost to a one legged Martinez

Daniel Geale lost to Darren Barker FFS.

Face it, GolovIdiots, the Triple Duck's resume is like yesterday's TRASH...

Just show's how weak the divisions are now when a 50 year old can have some semblance of recognition in the tabulation...ain't gonna been a topic some years back...
