GGG is going to be this generations zoo both great amateur boxers both had great power who didn't dare to be great like GGG zoo spent his whole career and wasted it by fighting in a dead division 140. Instead of daring to be great and chasing guys like Mosley oscar and Tito at 147, zoo was more than happy to sit at 140 and rule over a weak division. At the end he was forced to quit against a guy who he would have beaten in his prime. Sure he's a hof fighter but not really an atg. I can see GGG going down this road as well. It's eerily similar.

My God what did I just read? Mosley and Oscar skipped 140 becasue of Tszyu, not xoo you disrespectful illiterate f.u.c.k! Tszyu was also a first ballot H.O.F inductee. While GGG appears to be much better at this stage.

Not that I care to even argue with you or your ilk, I simply wanted others to absorb the gravity of what you just spewed all over this page.

Avoided zoo??? Both guys would be favored over him and more than likely would have beaten him at 140. The point is zoo didn't dare to be great he could have moved up to challenge them but no he stayed in a weak division and at the end got his brains beat n by Ricky hatton of all people. I said zoo was a hof fighter but perhaps he could have been greater if he moved up to 147 to face the best he didn't challenge himself enough and is rightfully rated where he is.

Many have said zoo here when referring to Kostya tszyu. You know who I'm talking about. Quit trying to change the subject and address my points.

    The original post says everything.

Cotto has 2 fights lined up then is gonna retire a rich man. No 160 fighter wants to fight GGG, so move up.. :nut

That's the whole point of the whole ****ing thread. Nobody wants to fight you and you're getting old? Move up, dominate and enhance your legacy. Multiple greats in the past have done this.

Guess you GGG fan's don't believe in your boy and don't think he's a great. You want him to stick around fighting tomato cans, midgets, and prospects. Where does that leave him? By the time GGG retires, Arthur Abraham will rank above him. At least he dared to be great and moved up after getting tired of knocking out bums.. :rofl

GGG is a throwback to a golden era when the best fought the best. none of this abc belt BS, running and ducking, 'business side' of boxing. The sport has suffered from these prima donnas like floyd and cotto

Surpasses Hopkins streak? Hopkins legend and legacy aren't because of his reign at MW. It was his longevity, resume, the fact that he was the first man to hold all the major belts, and be the oldest lineal champion of all time.

GGG isn't Hopkins. Hopkins is an anomaly. 33 is old, yet why is he fighting cans in a dead division? :rofl You realize after 13 title fights, GGG has only defeated 2 former champs, right? And they weren't even defending.. :scaredas:

Except he's not fighting the best, he's fighting tomato cans, and wants to face midgets and prospects.

As long as he's making $1 million per fight and has fans cheering him on he has no reason to step up. He has also gone far enough to call out Welterweights and is being hailed a hero for it.
