Why is GGG wasting his prime fighting tomato cans?

So these are what GGG fanboys want of their hero? They want him to surpass Hopkins legacy of 20 title defenses at MW. Is that it? Fighting bums to get that many title defenses?

So you want GGG to be the next Pongsaklek Wonjongkam or Sven Ottke of the Middleweight division? Pong made a habit beating up prospects and bums, just like GGG. However, during this stage of Pong's career, he beat more champions and top ranked opponents than GGG.

    Of course they are, wtf?

These are the recent champions of the 160 division..

WBC- A 200 pound fighter who took diuretics to slim down to 160 and beat up on little men, despite the flaws in his game plan.. (Chavez Jr, who GGG would still like to fight, despite getting knocked out by a gatekeeper his last fight.. :rofl) A Cripple who got knocked out by a midget WW(Martinez) and the midget shot to **** damaged goods WW WBC champ now(Cotto)

IBF- A shot Felix Sturm who for years has been giving close fights to eurobums and prospects. A 40 year old Sam ****ing Soliman.. Daniel Geale, who's about to get beat by the midget Cotto(who GGG would also like to fight), Matthew Macklin.. :rofl:rofl then a LITERAL mental patient in Jermain Taylor.

WBO- Quillin, who by far would be GGG's best opponent.. but he gave up his belt to former Chavez Jr. victim Andy Lee, who arguably lost his last fight against Kid Chocolate.. Now Quillin can't make weight and isn't focused at boxing.

Sure is a strong division.. :smoke

I get tired of hearing this nonsense. GGG is the best in the MW division. He will unify everything shortly. Why should he move up when he is a natural and very comfortable 160? It is not his fault Cotto and others, who some deem worthy of his attention, won't fight him. Until proven otherwise, GGG is the man in MW division. As far as I am concerned, he already is the MW champion of the world.

How can he unify when none of the other belt holders will fight him mainly Cotto or Canelo if he beats Cotto? GGG is wasting his time at 160 no one of note will fight him there. How many times does it have to be said.

No ****. Nobody is arguing against it. He's the best fighter in the MW division despite how dead it is. Why stick around? NOBODY at 160 can challenge you. NOBODY wants to fight you. Why not move up and enhance your legacy like the other greats in the past did? At 33 years old, what can GGG realistic do to become an ATG if he stays at 160?

The same things keep being repeated about GGG. He is a natural MW. It makes no sense for him to move up. At least let the guy clear out the MW division before he makes the move.

He won't be stripped if he beats Geale and has either Canelo or PBF lined up. You want to bet on that?:hey

I agree I admitted he was the best two fights ago people are acting like we're saying the guy isn't talented he is but he has no one to fight. Move up and display your talent instead of feasting on no-hopers like Monore Jr. It would be like Crawford sitting at 135 destroying all the trash there and never moving up to 140. Crawford really had no one there to fight worth a damn so he moved up.

Wtf do you mean it makes no sense for him to move up. Are you re****ed? Multiple GREATS in the past have moved up North to enhance their legacy because they DARED to be great.

There's nobody at MW who can challenge GGG. Like I've said before, At 33 years old, how can GGG become an ATG fighting bums and tomato cans? GGG is favored vs anyone at MW right now. He's dominant and is the clear number 1.

Do you not think GGG is a supposed great? Do you not have confidence in your hero?

That's a perfect example. If Crawford stayed at 135 defending his WBO belt against no hopers, people would criticize him. Crawford is young though and is still in his mid 20's. He has plenty of time to become a great yet is seizing the moment now.

GGG is 33 years old, what's his excuse?

One key difference is that Crawford was weighing close to 155 on fight night his last few fights at LW. He was a huge LW.

But overall, I have no issue with your logic on this matter. You're not a hater, it's clear you think he's a good fighter and just believe there are better fights for him at 168.
