Conversely, if Mayweather happens to win, I hope you won't be one the people bringing up the irrelevent "weight issue" and claiming that it would have been a different fight at 140lbs. That nonsense started up from a contingent of schmucks on this forum the second the contract was signed.

Hatton never fought a 1st class fighter in their prime thats why he so under rated.

theres no point bringing anything up in defeat. the facts show before the fight that pbf has the following advantages

    - choice of ring size
    - 10 oz gloves
    - fight in his own back yard
    - fight at 147

theres no point in moaning about any of this because this is the champs perogative and if hatton is gonna do it, then he is gonna have to do it the hard way.

i think you will find that very few hatton fans offer excuses in the event of a pbf win. pbf will get his dues, not only from hatton fans but from hatton him self.

9 months is ages in boxing. Like I said, 1 fight in basically 2 years, including shoulder surgery and a brief retirement. He was shot, old and on the verge of retirement. And Hatton basically hugged him to victory. Not that hard to understand really. Are you remedial? Floyd has De La Hoya, nobody outside of boxing fans know who the hell Kosta is.

De La Hoya is a far greater win.

So you've opted for preemptive strike with the excuses? Mayweather isn't a legit WW, Hatton is coming in his 140 lb form, the gloves are the NASC's choice, and as for Vegas being Mayweather's backyard, I thought he didn't have a real fanbase or clout to begin with as many people, Hatton supporters or otherwise, are so fond of pointing out. Besides, didn't Hatton call Floyd out post Castillo (after turning down the fight multiple times in the past couple of years)? Why would it be appropriate to have the fight in his backyard, where he would actually have a distinct advantage?

The nonsense that you just wrote makes all of your hypocritical complaining about American bias on these forums even more laughable.

no i'm not complaining about these things, i'm just stating the facts that everybody is aware of going into this fight.

would any of these factors make a difference in the outcome of this fight - no imo.

there will not be any excuses - 2 fighter in their prime - may the best man win. :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy

That's the way I remember it. Back when Lewis was fighting, I was always the only guy in the room rooting for him.
