If you don't believe that those factors will weigh on the fight, why did you bring them up advantages for Mayweather in response to a post of mine where I asked you if you'd make excuses for Hatton if he happens to lose.

BTW I always that the ring size was dictated the State Athletic Commission and the venue. Has that changed recently?

No kidding. I remember his fight with Tyson, and all my friends were telling me that Tyson would wipe the floor with Lennox. I was the only one laughing though at the end of the fight.

just to highlight that ricky is gonna have to do this the hard way and that he deserves respect from americans should he win.

with regards to ring size, i had heard that floyd had some say in this but if he hasn't then i stand corrected.

Ricky already has tons of my respect.

Win, lose or draw with Floyd won't change that.

His claim to fame is his win over Tszyu and lets not forget it was at the end of kostya's career who had fought something like 3 rounds (Mitchell fight) in 27 months i think going into his fight with Hatton. Since then Ricky moved up to welterweight struggled against Collazo then immediately came back to 140lb and didn't look great against Urango either. Sure he looked good against Castillo but Castillo was battle worn at that point. He has ducked Junior Witter for quite some time now as well. I don't see a strong case for him being a underrated boxer personally i feel he might be overrated.

I can't speak for the ignorant ones but as a boxing fan whats not to like of either guy ?

I think the main propblem with us Americans is we get caught up more so in th soap opra than the sport !!Everything has to tie into something base on whats popular !!

I like boxing with more action and less politics !!

I don't care what fighters are wearing these days as when it comes to fashion .

I don't care about dancing with the stars

I don't care about rap and boxing !!

All I want to see is the best fight the best ..In this fight we do we didn't have it when Hatton fought Muassa and nor did we get it when Floyd fought Gatti!!!!! Lets give both guys their due !

Becuase if u don't you will end up with a John Ruiz marathon !

Roger Mayweather called Hatton a "glorified club fighter"?

Wow, can't believe that crackhead finally called something like it is.

Floyd probably could've eaten McD's for a year and easily beat Hatton.
