Why Is Haye So Reluctant To Fight Anyone?

Getting ridiculous now. Haye hasnt ducked briggs. He doesnt have the money to bring him across. I m sure his promoters were nightclub owners or something like that for his last fight. Hearn who pretty much runs british boxing atm hasnt signed him up cause hes got a heavyweight in joshua.

What hayes offering briggs isnt enough cause he doesnt generate enough money atm because hes pretty much out in the cold in terms of promotion. Think hes down to fight the parker v the guy hes fighting winner. Surely parkers a threat. Pretty much defies what people are saying that hes ducking till he gets joshua.

Doesnt have the money to get good fighters across and is too dangerous for a belt holder to give an oppertunity to without being a mandatory.

I can see him taking on bellew. Which he ll get stick for but tbh he doesnt have that many options out there atm. Needs to hold out for the parker v ruiz winner in the meantime it ll either be bellew or a lower tiered heavyweight cause the moneys not there to get a top name across.

 

I dont think thats true at all. The only time hes done that was against audley harrison throughout his whole career where the money was too good to turn down. The last two guys were brought in cause thats all he could afford. Talking about a guy that fought carl thompson in his 11th fight. Went into jean marc momecks back yard and beat him. Fought valuev who,s about 7 feet tall bearing in mind haye was a cruiserweight for years thats quite an achievement. Then went to germany to fight a klitchko. On top of that chisora. Barrett and ruiz who werent really top contenders by the time he faced them but still were established names in the heavyweight division. Even mcaranelli was a dangerous name when they fought. Was almost seen as a 50/50 fight at the time. Plus theres other names on his record that were dangerous.

I m not hayes biggest fan. Although do rate him highly. But its time people got over the klitchko disappointment. Lets be fair to him tho...he cant get good opponents across cause hes been fighting on dave with a niteclub owner as his promoter. It only generates so much revenue.

Sad because an extremely aggressive Haye that was still prime
would probably clean out the division.

 

Haye hadnt fought for three years, was he supposed to come back in and take on contenders straight from the get go????? completely absurd!!!

Another fight and then he is ready to take on someone of substance, people need to get a little perspective here!!

 

If haye is not a danger and hes passed it etc and looking for a cash out fight you need to ask yourself why hes not fighting joshua on the 10th of december.

We ve been hearing reports of price or molina lined up for it. Everyones saying hayes past it. If that is true why has eddie hearn sidestepped the fight. Seemingly desperate for a name but everyones preoccupied. Cant be because they need time to build the fight because according to hearn they could have made the klitchko fight on the 10th.

I dont get how ruiz v parker winner is the easiest route. I also dont get why no ones saying klitchkos not...and yet hes going for browne. Or joshua whos going for price or molina. Or even parker who,s going for ruiz. The problem for haye is not that hes going the easiest route its that the rest of them are. He was on the verge of being frozen out till he somehow got himself the parker v ruiz winner hence the reason hes been fighting bums. No one wants to touch him because hes still very dangerous for anyone out there.

Klitchko was quality at keeping distance in their fight fought a very very good tactical fight with haye used his size and reach advantage perfectly. But theres not many out there that can use it nearly as good as klitchko including joshua. My moneys on haye to ko joshua if he fights him in the next year.

Wouldnt surprise me if hearn uses ortiz to keep haye busy. Honestly think that was his plan with bellew. No talks of joshua v haye cause hayes got a rival in bellew. If that doesnt take off and haye becomes more vocal he ll try and set up ortiz or go for hayes belt with ortiz if he does win one. Tbh its a mugs game for anyone to touch ortiz atm. A few out there can maybe beat him but reckon he ll shorten their careers. Cause cant see anyone having an easy night with him.

 

Mid 40's Briggs has looked more impressive than Haye knocking out the same level of opposition.

Haye is a con man. He will never face a top rated HW ever again. Take him past 4 rounds and he is in deep waters.
The Bomber is his only big pay day where he comes out the winner. And i heard that is practically a done deal now.

 

Not sure where you think he's trying to cash out, he's clearly a better fighter than Briggs and parker at the moment, who is up to fight him next. Haye may be holding a belt come next year an a big showdown with Joshua if he defeats Parker.

Anyone who thinks he's not a legit threat really aren't watching what skills look like aside from opposition he is a top guy as is Joshua as is wilder as is Ortiz and Parker. It doesn't take much to recognize a real threat.

 

You might have a point if Haye actually fought a live body. And just for the record, I believe Wilder is a knock out waiting to happen. I believe he gets stopped by all the top guys.

 

If I had 30 million dollars I'd sit at home and not fight anybody too.

 

Haye is always ****ing around trying to get maximum reward for minimum risk. Don't think his comeback will amount to much unless a big draw offers him a fight as he doesn't seem keen to force the issue by fighting contenders.

 

Heres the issue hes having tho...how does he get a decent contender to fight him. He doesnt have a big time promoter. He doesnt have a serious tv platform. He cant get on pay per view...add to that hes still dangerous. Any decent name that haye contacts to fight will ask for more than his fights generate atm. He cant even afford to bring briggs across for the fight.

His fights arent generating enough money to pay him and an opponent. Has to either take the bellew fight wait it out to become someones mandatory or go back to fighting guys that are cheap.

 

He still ducked Briggs after he said he would fight him.. still waiting...

 

They gave briggs an offer. Briggs thought it would be on pay per view where he d get a small fortune for the fight. I dont think briggs knew the landscape in the uk currently cause he was calling the wrong guy out for ppv. Should have spent his time calling out joshua while he was here.
Cause atm david haye is not where the money is...for haye to make good money it would need to be against a big name hearn fighter. Ie joshua or bellew. Cause up till now the best tv channel he can get to back him has been dave tv. Where the moneys tiny in comparison to sky ppv. I dont get why thats a duck. He cant afford to pay briggs what he wants for the fight.

Haye might be to blame in the past but since his comeback the situations pretty much been out of his control.

 

He's only going to put it on the line for a big ppv, that is obvious.
