Why is Haye 'Suddenly' to small for HW?

It's not so much his height, but his general build. He's clearly not the build of a natural heavy. Hating aside, he's clearly not, even if we were talking a decade or two ago he'd still look a little small boned, let alone set against these giants ruling the roost today.

 

He is not suddenly a small heavyweight, he's always been a small heavyweight. He was a cruiserweight and came up because he found it too hard to make weight. While he clearly is a natural heavyweight now and no longer a cruiser, he is not big for a heavyweight by todays standards.

Every other heavyweight he has fought has outweighed him. Bonin was probably the smallest heavyweight he has faced being shorter than Ruiz and weighing the same as Ruiz at 231lbs and he outweighted Haye by 14lbs when they fought.

But his size is a non issue and shouldn't be used as an excuse. He is clearly one of the best contenders, if not the best. And being small didn't stop Holyfield having success during his era against bigger men.

Haye is the same size as a the young prime George Foreman, the same George Forman that most on this forum say would KO either Klitschko in 2 rounds. Is Forman too small for a Klitschko?

Haye is a small heavyweight but that doesn't stop him fighting at heavyweight division.

Him losing to a big heavyweight in Wlad makes him a smaller HW.

Him having a broken toe makes him the smallestiest HW.

 

haye would be a normal heavy in the 70's, I consider hima real heavy, he is just small compared to the klits.
