Why is HBO airing Bradley-Provodnikov?

This does raise the question of who actually has the power to influence opponent choice.

Personally, I have no idea, but I doubt that the networks have much say in it.

 

i think its a good idea, a bunch of bitter pac fans will tune in to see him get beat

i think Bradley is in a good position because of the controversy lots of casuals who just tune in for pac and floyd fights know who he is

 

Yea what others have said HBO has to air what Bob Arum wants I sure wish somebody picked up hte Froch Kessler fight

 

pretty sure they owed Bradley a fight from a previous contract is why......

 

And the packard hate of Tim continues....

 

It's a Top Rank fight, and Bradley is a ratted pound for pound boxer.

 

'championship' fight....pffff. Like it means anything. Poor fight that shouldn't be on HBO unless it was an undercard.

 

The real question is why did Arum even bother making this fight?

Mixed feelings. I was starting to feel Sick at the way Bradley went.about that.

 

I thought Bradley would win an easy decision, but couldn't believe it when Bradley went in guns blazing first round.

I feel he did that to get some sort of recognition from fight fans....and boy did he...

It was an excellent decision. That was one of the best fights I've ever seen.
