Why is Holyfield considered a top 5 HW?

    I don't know where I rate Evander for sure but I will say that no one, no one fought better opposition .. Qwai, DeLeon, Thomas, Dokes, Foreman, Cooper, Holmes, Bowe (3), Moorer (2), Lewis (2), Tyson (2), Mercer .. an insane career ..

    Top 5-10 for me all time. Although he has always been one of my favorites to watch like Hagler just the epitome of perseverance and will.

    This. Absolute warrior, took nothing for granted, had iron will and discipline, had as much heart as any Ali, etc. Plus exciting in the ring.

    Very, very easy to see why he may be a bit overrated by some. He's definitely an ATG, but probably not top 5.
