Why is Hopkins vs Cloud not being talked about?

I don't want Hopkins to go through with the fight.

I mean, think about the risk that it entails. A damn near 50 year old man against a young, strong guy like Cloud who is good enough to be amongst the top fighters at 175.

If Hopkins does win, it will be no less than phenomenal and unheard of. He deserves a lot of credit for courage.

I will say, while I cannot predict the future, I can prevent certain things from happening. Not everything, but certain things that have to do with decisions I make in every day life.

If I make the wrong decision, I am led on the wrong path.

I just hope that God protects both fighters and maybe Hopkins is convinced through his own foresight that he's proven enough in the sport and that there is no reason to continue fighting when you can use your tallents for other things, like making it better.

Bernard Hopkins is one of the best fighters in history. That is already established.

    Oh ****!!!

Nah, for real though. Uh...can someone move this to general forum?

Sometimes I fail to realize the type of tasks that Hopkins tries to accomplish.

He is one of the only fighters who really is fighting for legacy.

Was going to say that after I had said because it would be about as interesting as watching paint dry. Sadly if it were on sky Id sit up and watch it and if it were primetime Id pay the £15. Lets just never speak of this fight again!

This fight will be anything, but boring, and I'm afraid it may be Hopkins' last stand.

I don't see the point in taking on an opponent as strong as Cloud.

I know that he took Pavlik apart, but this is a different story because it's on a different page.

And the pages are in the back of the book.

Like I said, I just wish both men their health.

I cant agree that it wont be boring. But if it were to take place Id pick Cloud to win. Hopkins is not a light heavy and never was. He did a number on Tarver but for me that is it at that weight. How many natural light heavy weights has B hop fought apart from Dawson and Tarver?
I really wish Bernard would hang up the gloves but that is up to him. Great fighter at middleweight!

  7. Who vs WHO?

Anthony Hopkins is fighting a cloud?

    Is this in Thor II?

Hard to get excited for this when they both looked so bad in their last fights, if it was after Cloud beat Mack and Hopkins beat Pascal I think it woulda been hyped up 10x more
This fight only goes 2 ways Hopkins schools him Pavlik style or age catches up to Hopkins and Cloud busts him up and maybe stops him but I think its most likely to be the first one, sayin that Hopkins did get knocked down by Pascal his legs didn't look too strong

I think it's more should than could.

Cloud is nothing new to B Hop.

Everybody is busy talking about Pac's possible comeback fight, horrible Ring Magazine rankings, that Mayweather is still ducking every cruiserweight on the planet, that Donaire will never possibly risk fighting Rigondeaux, that Ward is a headbutting coward, and that Golovkin is guaranteed future P4P #1 and if you don't agree than you suck.

Why is Hopkins vs Cloud not being talked about?

Because B-Hop is now irrelevant, and Cloud actually lost (decisively) to Campillo, so **** him.

Go back a few years and it would be WILL! the age is the worrying bit,Im not thinking B hop could be hurt just that he could drop a points decision that is pointless to have on his record. And it would be boring!
