Because the fix was in. Where have you ever seen a man who is renowned for the number of punches thrown per round, wait on the other guy to continually hit him at will, with the barest of retaliation? To me, it was blatantly disgusting! At odds of 4 to one, Pavlik made a killing with his purse bet on BHop! Just my opinion!!
I'm NOT joking. I have watched many, many fights in my lifetime. Having watched Pavlik over some time now, he obviously never arrived to fight. I'm actually disgusted! Watch the fight again and you will see how many times he had the opportunity to punch and waited for Bernard to hit him!! Very, very unlike him at all. :-( :-( :-(
