I too would bet on Floyd! Locically it makes sense but logically PAC should have lost to EM, MAB and JMM as well. PAC if nothing else is a special fighter....but anyone can loose.

Nah.....PAC's abilities speak for themselves....by no means do I feel PAC is a natrual Welter Weight....I don't even believe Paul Williams is a natrual Welter weight...nor do I think Marg is...but for whatever reasons they are fighting in that division and they are most definitley the top 1 & 2 guys since Floyd is out.

But PAC has a very good chance at beating Floyd and I'm not a "Hard Core" PAC fan. I'm just a "Hard Core Boxing Fan". Marg and Cotto have less of a chance at beating Floyd due to their styles at 147 than PAC does at 140 at upsetting Floyd. At 140 the palying feild is level....at 147 Floyd has the advantage.

Hey....I'm with you, but 4 & 5 yrs ago when he beat MAB and then took JMM to the limits in their thriller I just knew that b/c of PAC's style, his rawness and lack of defense that he'd get starched. The man is defying logic evertime he steps in the ring for most.

But now we see PAC's improvements...we she how he's actually showing polished skills, good instict, ring generalship...HEAD MOVEMENT with a method...not just bouncing around and bobbing/weaving just to do it.

PAC is at this time a complete fighter...not as polished as lets say JMM or Floyd but he has other qualities that are unmatched which enable him to beat guys who are far superior in the skills category.

I haven't read anyone elses post, because thats a lot of damn posts so I don't know if anyone has mentioned this or not.. You say whenever a fighter wins a big fight, in this case Pacquiao, they are supposedly the answer for Mayweather? Well, isn't Mayweather himself about to come out of retirement to fight him? You can't blame fans for rooting for Pacquiao.. What are the pac fans, like me, suppose to say? That Pacquiao has no chance or that he's going to lose? The odds in this fight will be just like before the Pac-DLH fight where it seemed impossible for Pac to win the fight.. Let him be the underdog and let him think that this fight will be impossible for him to win, because just like he said, "the harder you train, the easier the fight."
