Hes is very likely the best HW right now, but he is nowhere near as superhuman as Wilder has been making him look imo. If he actually takes on a range of top 10 level guys going forward as he should do, I expect him to look a lot more beatable.

He hasn't fought Usyk yet. So lets not get ahead of ourselves, he's the top dog but he has one serious challenger left.

As to why he's so good. He's the biggest man in the division for a start that always helps. But size alone isn't enough, he's surprisingly agile for such a big man too.

But it's his boxing IQ that's whats separated him from everyone else so far. He used to be very beatable but he's continued to evolve as a boxer, improved his defence, learned to implement his size in the clinches, learned to fight from both stances, he unlike so many heavies now has evolved his skill level to the point where he can break the basic fundamental rules of boxing, like keeping your hands up, not squaring up etc. He breaks these rules to his advantage now, knowing when it's good to do so and so his opponent can't anticipate what he will do like with a text book boxer as he's so unpredictable, you don't know what strategy he will use as the 3 Wilder fights showed, he fought differently in every fight.

It's not impossible. It all depends on which Fury shows up. Wilder almost beat Fury when he was out of shape.

If Fury is 100% fit and focused, then he's #1 definitely. He's got great speed, skills, and he's physically a monster.

He's difficult to KO, not even Wilder could do it, and he's got great endurance.

Everyone is beatable, Fury has stated himself he must be knocked spark out, otherwise he's going to get up and win.

Your second option doesn't make any sense. Please explain why this is an option. It doesn't make any sense.

He's beatable, every fighter is - but none of the other top fighters in the division are beating him imo.

A perfect example of being very comfortable in the ring, the extreme opposite of a David price kind of mentality

Impossible according to whom? It didn't look 'impossible' when Wallin was piecing him up from his southpaw stance with straight rear shots repeatedly. Fury only turned the fight over by leaning his body-weight against Wallin, tiring Wallin out. What happens when Fury fights a southpaw who is just as big and strong as him, that he can't bully like he did against Cunningham and Wallin? There are still so many question marks surrounding Fury it is frankly laughable to suggest he is unbeatable.

You need to at the bare minimum, clean out the entire division at least once, if not keep it cleaned for a period of a decade to earn the title of 'unbeatable'. How do we know if Fury could still beat someone like Joe Joyce, or Filip Hrgovic, or Oleksandr Usyk, or a bunch of other guys he hasn't faced with various different styles? Or are we just going to give Fury credit and merit without him having to actually prove himself against variety of different opponents with variety of different styles?

His win against Wilder is good, but it doesn't remotely suggest he could beat those other guys I've just mentioned along with those who I haven't mentioned. Styles make fights and you have to prove your style / styles work against more styles of opponents than of any other boxer in your division. Fury hasn't done so. Beating Wilder or even AJ or even Usyk doesn't = Fury can by default beat everyone else who are deemed inferior. Wilder himself has not even proven himself against any of those top opponents I've just mentioned, so how does Fury's win over Wilder prove he is unbeatable against every other style.

I think someone like Jarrell Miller would just walk through Fury and overwhelm / drown him. Good luck trying to lean your weight on a natural 300+ pound framed guy. And good luck trying to keep such an opponent away.

Fury is a great fighter but his resume is:

Chisora x2... perfect opponent for a 6'7 - 6'8 guy with long reach to look good against.

Gunshy Klitschko who absolutely disgraced himself in that fight, he disregarded Fury and paid for it. It was a stinker of a fight but Kltischko would have done much better in a rematch.

Wilder x3 - How good is Wilder? He hasn't got a great win on his record, his resume is filled with bums who got beat by Kownacki more easily than by Wilder.

That's literally his resume. Chisora is the only opponent who fought at least 1 guy in the top 7-8 of the current HW division.
Wilder has literally not got a single win over anyone in top 10-15 bar Ortiz who is old and overrated.

He is 33 years old and has put his body through a lot, he needs to fight the AJ, Usyk, Whyte, Joyce etc while he's still under 35-36 years old.

Pretty much agree with most of the OP. His size gives him a huge advantage.
In this weak division he probably will remain unbeaten. Only Usyk left really, could be interesting. I see him retiring soon to be honest.
Whyte & AJ may no longer motivate him. We saw Wilder at his limited best at the weekend against a far from motivated Fury.

Because unlike the other current heavyweights Fury isn't a discarded basketball player or ex drug dealer who started boxing in his 20s. Too many heavyweights are getting by on sheer size and he is the only one that has something about him beyond that.
