Yep, that evil Arum is always putting a brotha down! Never mind Rigondeaux was put on Manny Pacquiao undercards to showcase his talent. He was then given 2 headlining shows (Donaire and Agbeko). In the Agbeko fight, Rigo stunk out the joint so badly that people booed and started in leaving in droves after the third round. But that was all Arum's fault obviously.

Rigo the most feared man in boxing. I bet sanctioning bodies are being bribed by promoters and mangers so their fighter never has to face Rigo. I saw rigo destroy and ruin a fighter of the year and brand new cash cow. Boxing is a business and nobody wants an end to a cash flow which will be the result of their fighter being destroyed by rigo. this is a consensus and they have all colluded in agreement to push Rigo out. And its not personal its business.

    Rigo is a bad man.

Apparently Rigo prices himself out a lot and also has a bad promotion team. I haven't looked too much into him. He was offered a Lomachenko fight a while ago, but he didn't take it. Frampton also wanted to fight him over LSC (first fight) but Haymon apparently advised him to go up and fight LSC instead. There are some other cases, but I can't remember them at the moment.

there are always rumors of guys saying they want to fight rigo. or in interviews they are asked who they want next and they say rigo. I just sounds good mentioning rigos name. But no one has sent a purse bid no one.

Frampton got a lot of stick for ducking him, I don't think people evade the criticism at all.

It was Rigo's fault for being so boring true, but still the other champs shouldn't really duck him if they want to be true warriors. Instead they're ok with being lesser.

Didn't he say he wanted the Rigo fight before he moved up to fight LSC or am I remembering this entirely wrong? I could have sworn he said that.

It's common practice for any top fighter between 118-126, something done enough by every top tier fighter over a period of time makes the practice a accepted one. It's partially why ATG's like McFarland & Benton never received title shots. Lack of entertaining style, and marketability, plus being too good has made what happens to Rigo a fairly common practice for a long long time now. Rigo isn't the first and wont be the last, if he at least earned the almost certain loser a top payday like Mayweather did, then everyone would be lining up and fighting among each other for the next crack at Rigo. In other words make the almost certain blemish to their record, and earning ability after losing their 0, worth their while.

Yes exactly, not fighting him doesn't hurt the money they make fighting everyone else, that's all that's important to them while they're still in their prime earning years. If fighters like LSC or Frampton lose 3-4 of their next 5 fights, they will gladly fight Rigo. However, the new top fighters that pass them up/have beaten them will do the same thing they did. That is until Rigo starts to show signs of slipping, it might be coming soon, the guy is like 36.

Rigo was really just brought in as an opponent against Donaire who was the favorite. He puts on a clinic and upset one of Arum's favorites and Arum hated it. He then went out of his way to bash a fighter that he was promoting. I have never seen anything like it. It was very unprofessional and he held a grudge against Rigo ever since. I won't even get into the shameless ducking other title holders did to avoid him.
