Oh THAT'S what you meant. I thought you meant it as in "They aren't Latino; they are white."

Yeah, I can't believe that HBO is lowballing Roman Gonzalez right now and won't pony up a mil to see him fight Inoue, Cuadras, or Estrada like he's asking for. He's the p4p #1 in the sport but his earning power is maybe 50th if that. He's made on average 230k his last five fights. And he's got 83% knockouts, with an extremely fan friendly style.

I'm trying to think who the fan friendly little guys from the last few decades have been besides the obvious Pacquiao, Morales, Barrera. Johnny Tapia, Nonito Donaire, Michael Carbajal, and Bobby Chacon were all extremely fan friendly. I know that Donaire and Carbajal got paid a little, but not like they deserved. Still, better than the likes of Ricardo Lopez and Mark Johnson. At least Rigo gets better than they got. Mancini made good money for the time, but he was a lightweight. I'm pretty sure that Khaosai Galaxy and Pongsaklek Wonjonkam made peanuts.

Slaughtered is harsh! Guys chin gets cracked by borderline c levellers ffs! Rigondeaux is too old to really impact boxing now.. He'd probably outbox both of those but i can see either man getting a come from behind stoppage over him! LSC dwarfs him! I think you are underestimating those two & over egging Rigo.. They would both be competitive!

Rigs figjts whoever accepts. Most people refuse and make excuses saying he isn't exciting, when you had two clowns like Frampton and Quigg, put on the boring fight of the year. He has never ducked anyone. Why even lie and try to make that claim?

It's quite obvious why.. very poor money to fight him, it will be a boring fight so it's bad for your profile. How can anyone say anyone is ducking Rigo.. lol there is very little reason to fight him

The only exception is Scott Quigg. Quigg is a fighter who doesn't care about money or fame.. he's all about the achievements ,he has said he is happy to face Rigo. he's the biggest puncher in the division and it's highly likely Rigo's weak chin would be destroyed.

But do you really think the best guys that are willing to face Rigondeaux in the last 3 years are Amagasa, Francisco and Dickens?

Rigondeaux does absolutley noting to help himself get these big fights-

    - Signs with the promoter with the worse working relationship with every other promoter around.
    - When he has a fight on a major show (such as the Cotto/Canelo undercard) he seems to purposely stink the joint out to ensure the broadcaster won't be inviting him back
    - When he was made Frampton's mandatory he made it clear that he wasn't budging on the 55/45 split the sanctioning body has ordered and given the size of Frampton's fanbase that was never gonna happen at those splits
    - Suspiciously doesn't get a work permit and cancels a fight at 3 days notice
    - Refuses to learn English
    - Was offered the Jamie McDonnell fight on the Brook-GGG undercard on Sky Sports, I suspect because Matchroom wanted to build him as a decent money fight for Quigg, fights Jazza Dickens instead, then post fight declares his loyality to Sky rivals BoxNation

Here is the thing. Rigondeaux don't want the big fights. I believe those nincompoops at Roc Nation gave him a guaranteed contracted for a number of fights where he's paid the same regardless. He's happy to run that contract out fighting bums. That's why I say if he really wants the big fights, he'd do what the likes of Brook has done who wasn't getting big fights- go and find them himself waiting for them to find him. Brook wasn't given a pass before GGG, nor should Rigondeaux.

Offered the Jamie McDonnell fight- turned it down to fight someone not even good enough to win a British title.

You really think the last 3 opponents are the best 3 fighters willing to fight him? LMAO.

Rigondeaux was throwing damn near all the punches. Who knew that Agbeko would pull a Clottey. Agbeko already has good defense, and an iron chin. Nobody at 122 was gonna knock him out or look good against him if he was just being defensive the whole fight.

Oh yeah I forgot about that. Jamie Mcdonnell was really keen to face Rigo.. I'm sure Hearn would have offered him good money. It was a clear duck from Rigondeaux, it's clear to see Rigo just does not want any tough fights.

I can't blame Rigo though. Those morons at Roc Nation gave him a guaranteed contract for a number of fights. And being they can't work with Arum or Haymon they won't get big fights- so Rigondeux is laughing all the way to the bank, while clueless fanboys such as that Akbar guy give him a pass for taking the easier option.

My 116-112 score for LSC was posted in the round by round thread of the fight. Your feeble attempts at group, or multiple personality trolling are laughable.

I'm fully aware of Rigs contract, and also fully aware that he doesn't have the right people handling his career. That being said, Haymon allegedly blocked the LSC fight from happening. Maybe Rigs refused to sign with Haymon on principle, after that.
