Maidana would have won had the ref not let Khan fight dirty the whole fight. He lost against Peterson, and Maliganngi is a bum (and a feather fisted one at that). Please, GTFO out with this bull****. Can't wait to see your boy get KO'd yet again. And it will happen. Keep supporting chumps like him.
Of course he is, he keeps getting KO'd unless the ref lets him fight dirty. How anyone can support that bull**** is beyond me.
Yeah nice to see Zakman chime in with his generic 'glass jaw' comment while ignoring the fact TS has 1. used a racial slur and 2. bypassed the word blocking filter of esb something that's surely worthy of a ban? (I know i've been banned for it before) or is it only worthy of a ban when you're trying to mention a promoters name?
I like Khan, but then he goes on a couple of wins, and gets arrogant as ****. With that arrogance, even as a Khan fan, it makes you want to see him get knocked out! Then he does.. Comes back down to earth again... and history repeats itself.
I believe you'll find it was Maidana who was lucky to not get KO'd. There was one guy struggling to get up off the floor in that fight...and it wasnt Khan. Khan has been KO'd a grand total of TWICE in 30 fights!!! And you call ME stupid!! Olympic silver medalist at 17 Commonwealth champ at 20 World champ at 21 DEAL WITH IT! Hype jobs dont beat a string of top 10 ranked fights you clown!
He's just one of those people that runs off at the mouth and rubs people up the wrong way. I mean, if Mayweather or Broner were to get KO'd, that would be satisfying to see also, wouldn't it? It's just human nature- from the playground to the ring- to want to see the big-mouth, arrogant types get dropped innit?
Jquickie, the alt, says Khan's ethnicity is irrelevant to him, but in the same breath complains about him having fans that are Pak!stanis and him not showing the Union Jack on his shorts (despite having done so in nearly all of his fights). Jquickie, the alt, also says he cares not about his colour, despite him in another thread bringing the colour of his skin into the equation when accusing me of defending him: And, I have to say, so what if he has a large fan base that comprises of British Pak!stanis? Isn't that normal? Mayweather enjoys massive support from African Americans. You've seen his fanbase and his entourage, the majority of them are black. Oscar De La Hoya was also a massive star amongst the Mexican American people. And when you see others like him -- say, Brandon Rios -- they too enjoy the overwhelming support of people from their own ethnicity. It's very normal and there's nothing wrong with it. So if you have a problem with Khan's supporters, then that just indicates a line of insecurity that exists in you. Maybe you just don't like seeing the likes of him have something to cheer about. I don't know. Either way, you're a prat . Oh, and also, he is not a massive star in Pak!stan. Most of the people barely know or care about him. In fact, I'm not even sure they televise his fights. Certainly my cousins over there -- and I have plenty -- have never seen him. He's a household celebrity in the UK, but he's nowhere close to being that in Pak!stan. So your claim of him being more well known there than here, is absolute ******ed - just like almost every one of your other claims about him.
The point is he doesnt say anything that nearly every other fighter says! When a fighter is asked "do you think you'll win?" They all say "yes!" Are they alla rogant for believeing that they'll beat the guy they're about to fight? You askm ANY top ranked fighter "Do you believe you#e the best in your division?" They ALL say "yes". How can you be a boxer when you think in your own head that you're not the best?
Mate, I hear what your saying. But not all boxers evoke the same reactions from fans as Kahn (and Mayweather, Broner). It's hard to put your finger on but he just pisses people off. Not my fault, but this is the truth. Yes, all boxers have to have self belief and express it in interviews, but for whatever reason, Kahn just kind of sets himself up for a fall everytime with the **** he talks. When he was just a few fights into his pro career (and after we'd all rallied behind him during the Olympics), a friend and I were watching him fight on TV in the pub. I was rooting for Kahn, but my mate said "I don't know what it is about Kahn, but I just want to see him get knocked out!" Thats a quote i've heard time and time again throughout his career. Which kind of sums up the OP's question.
What's even more refreshing is to see Khan die inside the ring. Arrogant **** like khan deserved to be one of the statistic.
