And why again is he supposed to fight these 140 pounders at welterweight?

Isn't Adamek doing something like that now with the Klit's and Kevin McBride?

a true example of making chicken soup from chicken ****

JMM Marquez fought at 124 pounds nov 2006
30 months had jumped 4 weight divisions and 36 years old
floyd is a fraud- all of mexico behind JMM floyd says....:tired

Gatti- in his 15th year as a pro...ring worn and shot...regardless of his winning streak over ward, branco, dorin and jesse james leija..WHOOPIE
gets kod by baldomir and a contender fight gomez next...the great floyd KOd gatti just like 10 time loser baldomir and a freaking contender fight ...great company floyd

whatever you said about Judah....ummm he fought the motha ****er after he just got beat over 12 rounds by a guy with 9 losses....

mosley, the oldest guy to EVER win the welterweight title....the OLDEST.....also the OLDEST at 38 to lose it ...wow floyd :good

the same reason he moved up to weleterweight...making his debut against 140 pounder sharmba mitchell...defended his welterweight title against 140 pounder ricky hatton- judah, a welterweight of 2 years.....
he makes his living off fighting small guys....unless they are very old, shot, or have 9 losses already then insert baldomir and DLH :good

didnt see floyd fighting any true welters...that started off at welter...margarito, williams...oh but they dont bring nothing to the table...sergio martinez would meet floyd at 154....oh..he dont bring nothin to the table either...
maybe mathew hatton- revenge for ricky and all of UK will be behind him..or so says floyd :rofl

Because, like all of his past opponents, those are the guys everybody wants him to fight, aside from Pacquiao (not his fault he's superstitious), Martinez (wouldn't Martinez be a PUNK ASS WHIMPY ***** for fighting someone two weight classes lower???), and Cotto (honestly, wouldn't 90% of you say he was war torn, shot, and either above his best weight at 154 or weight drained if he fought him at 147). Answer to that, fellas.

    A little bit.

But more importantly, he was above his best weight.

If he fought Cotto, Maragrito, Williams, or Clottey, we would be discussing how he avoided Tim Bradley - that would be ridiculous.

We could discuss how overrated these fighters or past their prime or how crude they are, but at least he fought them, which is better than what you idiot *****s are always doing - fantasy match-ups where Gay always wins.

Floyd simply understands the business , beat marque names which sell fights , Hatton couldnt fight for **** at 147 , but brought big crowds. JMM couldnt fight for **** at 147 but was great down at 135. Mosley couldnt fight for **** at 38 years old but was a name.

Floyd has done this since Oscar left a big hole . Floyd now will wait for Manny to get old , which will happen , then Floyd will be calling him out.

he has always done this. I think it gives him confidence to have an edge over someone.
