Why is it that Hatton is finished but Cotto isn't?

cotto is a lot better than hatton, they're not even comparable. hatton's legs go with every punch he takes, cotto's doesn't.

it's not really rocket science is it? saying that though, cotto's career won't last much longer if he takes that many more beatings.

also cotto keeps himself in better condition.

Bottomline is, we outrightly gave our judgment based on their Pac fights and performances. Try digging the history of the two and you'll have better answer. Compare Hatton by eliminating PBF in his ledger, and Cotto without Pac in his record and theres the answer.

Cotto took 2 serious beatdowns though, I don't know whats worse for a fighters health, getting KTFO in 2 rounds, or taking a serious beatdown over 12 rounds.

getting beatdowns is worse in the longterm, while hatton can't take beatdowns because he's ****ed.

though what does more damage, a ko in 2 rounds or a sustained beating over 11 rounds?

if pac hand landed that same punch he did on hatton, cotto would have been "knock the **** out" too.

    errr hatton has fought 4 top 10 p4p fighters beating a #3 and a #8 and losing to 2 p4p #1 fighters.

cotto has only fought 1 p4p top 10 fighter and lost (pac), with his other loss coming from a ~ p4p # 25 at the time in margo. mosley was outside the top 10 when they fought.

I feel part of reason is that British fight fans need an excuse everytime one off their boys lose. Then this subliminally rubs off on others.

For the record, I don't think either are done and we won't know for sure until they fight again.

    no he wouldn't:lol:

pac landed numerous left and right hooks.

    hatton sucks.

put him in there with margo and mosley see how well he does.
