Just about everything to diss Hattons boxing is now that he leaves his hands down.Bollocks,Ok he does drop his right hand to get the sucker ko punch but he isn`t like Haye or Froch.

the only way to make hatton quit is to keep knocking him down

cotto doesnt have the heart hatton does, he got his ****ing ass WHOOPED by pacquaio, worse than the beating pacman gave hatton, pacqiaio launched more ferocious punches at hatton imo

at 140 i would pick hatton to beat cotto every day of the week, at 147 i would choose cotto

i hope they get it on at 145 one day

cotto got beaten down by both margo and pac, dont use that as a way of getting one over hatton

if they were all jww's in hattons division, yes he would beat them in his prime, with the exception of mosely. and you list margo but cotto lost to him, mosely was a debatable win (had to run the last few rounds), clottley was a debatable win, and as far as pac, yeah he "lasted" 11 rounds, but was humilated in almost every round, dropped twice and had to run in the last few rounds or it would have been stopped earlier.

Id pay to see the damage cotto would do to that mancuion divvy he's fought two top fighters in floyd and manny and got knocked out in both, even tzu was past his best, cottos fought the best and beat the best namley mosley clotty cintron i'll tell u this fatton would have no chance against these men imagine the damage mosley would do to fatton.

Personally i feel Cotto is far better fighter than Hatton. Cotto's has mixed it up well with elite fighters (mosley) than Ricky Hatton. Unfortunately Cotto has had one war too many, therefore his days are numbered.

lol, so you're comparing arguably the best fighter of this generation in pbf to a crude brawler in margo? and he lasted 10 rounds against him anyway so what's your point.

you say koysta p4p #3 was passed his best when hatton fought at the age of 35, but you're also saying cotto's best win was fighting mosely p4p #12 at the time and 36 years of age?

clottley is hardly one of the greats and when did cotto fight cintron?

Overall Cotto took BEATINGS! hatton did not....although the two KO's were pretty signifigant...especailly PAC's KO of Ricky. But ultimately he took far less of beatings than Cotto has.

Cotto was more competitive against pac than Hatton. He looks after himself more, isn't fat etc. Cotto still has plenty to offer in my book, ricky doesnt which is a shame.
He could yet prove me wrong though.

well i don't think you need to be a genious to realise that taking punches by concrete ****s you up. some fighters have died over that ****, and if they don't die, then the punishment is normally bad depending on how much punishment they take. in cotto's case, his face was totally ****ed up, and everyody knows that fight took something out of him.

cotto was winning that fight clearly, and we know it takes a few rounds for the water (sweat) to make the plaster get harder, and it took about six rounds for margarito to start taking over the fight.

you said "but that kostya win for hatton is basically his only great win" which infers that you think cotto had more than one great win, and i was saying he didn't he just had mosley. understand now?

who the hell compares Clotty to malinaggi. Different size, styles and weight. Malinaggi was dominated by hatton and showed some guts versus a drained cotto. Clotty showed good account for himself versus the best at 147.
