Why is it that we let Evander and Bowe keep fighting?

With all seriousness why is it that most boxing comissions still give Evander and Bowe a license to fight? I'll be honest, Each comission should have a committee where they can actually evaluate and should actually retire boxers that shouldn't be fighting right now and don't know how or when to retire.

What are we waiting for? For them to be seriously hurt to then think about this? :huh

    What do you think?

Its called George Foreman syndrome, Big george wins the title whilst way over the hill and never every fighter who is shot think he can do the same.

The problem is, George had the one thing that is the last to leave a fighter: power. And, he had it in spades

I have said it time and time again, the only way Evander is going to retire is when someone really, really ****s him up. Unfortunately, even though Nikolai will most likely win, i dont think he has the pop to really do some damage. Thus, unfortunately, we are going to have to put up with more of this **** :patsch

Just put him in with one of the Klit brothers already and let him have his death wish

They cant stop them from fighting if they pass all the correct medical tests because it would be a restraint on trade and then Holyfield, Bowe etc could sue and they would likely win.

I don't think it's a coincidence that they're both fighting in Europe. Their cashing in by fighting in front of audiences that never got to see them live. When you think of all of the wars Evander has been in over the years and Bowe...just listen to his interview after the second Golota fight and that's all you need to hear.

Valuev almost stopped The White Wolf, and everything I've heard has led me to believe that he's a very tiring fighter to face, so I doubt Evander makes it the full twelve.

the thing is... hes not just fighting in club fights around the country, hes taking on one of the beltholders at the heavyweight division.

If thats not a sign that heavyweight boxing is completely whack then nothing is...

i dont care that they fight.... but they need to be put in their place as far as who they are fighting.

thats why boxing needs a central body, none of this fragmented bullcrap that is going on... but a central body to govern this sort of stuff.

Evander sounds like he is one big punch away from serious head trauma. He should retire and stay retired! :huh
