... everytime we get on the topic of Margarito ducking the best fighters, all you Margarito fans start to mention Floyd & Oscar?

    INNNNNNNNNNNNNNNT! That answer is void.

What does this topic have to do with Mayweather or DLH?

Is Margarito so boring that we cannot only focus on him when a thread is based on him? I mean, whats the deal?

After his next fight(because it will be against an opponent weaker than Mosley or PW & for less money) Cotto's gonna be the man at 147 again. Lots of ppl will have more respect for Cotto that AM.

The answer I'm about to give you is both unbias and completely factual. Margarito isn't afraid of any fighter, past or present, he made his decisions for legit reasons. The reason people bring up Mayweather when people are dissing Margarito, is because Floyd genuinely ducked fighters. Margarito has already fought 3 of the best 147lb fighters in the world, whereas Floyd didn't even fight 1. Don't say Baldomir, you'd just dig yourself a big hole.

I have a lot of respect for Mayweather, but it's unacceptable for people to be making threads about Margarito ducking people. He already fought Williams, and Mosley just got outboxed by old Mayorga.

Mosley got outboxed by Mayo, which he did, but he won by KO.
Margo got outboxed by Cotto, which he did, but won by TKO

    Whats the difference?

I think there's a difference between prime Cotto and prime Mayorga let alone a battle worn, shot to peices, Mayorga.

I hope you're not one of these people who's going to forget logic just to hate on a fighter you don't have a particular taste for?

And there's a difference between a shot Mosley & a prime Mosley vs Margarito too. But selfkill, you are a smart poster & I enjoy you around here, so I want a smart fan like you to tell me why did he decline to fight Williams for 4 mil?

p4pdabest, the truth is and I'm sure you already know, nobody on ESB, not even Sweet Pea, knows the answer to that question. I would have loved for Margarito to have signed for the rematch, as it would have cleared up a lot of doubt to who is the man at 147. Every Margarito fan would have loved the fight. However, for some reason or another, he declined the offer and now has just declined another.

I could either jump on the bandwagon and say Margarito is scared and a ducker, but then common sense kicks-in. Margarito fought more dangerous fighters than a shot Mosley, and he has already fought Williams. How can you be ducking a fighter you've already fought?

I believe that Margarito is finally getting some recognition at the top of teh sport, and is just weighing up his options before commiting. It sucks that we have to wait, but the man got to where he is from the bottom up. He deserves a bit of credit.
