Boxers seem to be hanging around longer now than before, mosley 39, Hopkins 46, Marquez 37, tarver 42, jones 40, to name but a few.
Is it only for the money? Most of these guys (obviously not Marquez and hopkins, talking about old fighters in general who were at world level at one stage in their career) seem to keep boxing way past their prime and their not doing their legacy any favours.
Take mosley for example after tonight what would be the reason for him to keep boxing, he's not going to achieve anything more, just going to get hurt.
It seems alot of boxers seem to make bad investments and keep boxing to make money when they have nothing left to give to the sport, I find it sad.
