Doesn't always make for the most exciting fights, but those guys fight 'big'.

Look at a pic of Jess Williard and look at a pic of Wlad Klitschko and the only thing they'll have in common is height.

Wlad is s superb athlete who can fight, Williard was a big lump who got by simply because he was bigger and stronger than his opponents, an earlier version of Valuev basically.

Theres an old phrase that holds as true today as ever before.

A GOOD BIG MAN BEATS A GOOD LITTLE MAN!!

Its that simple, for a fighter to beat someones 20 pounds heavier and 3 inches taller, and who's in just as good condition as him,the smaller guy needs to have way more skills, way more speed and ideally big power.

A bigger in shape fighter, will have greater reach due to height, and greater power due to more mass behind the punch. The greater mass also makes it harder for the smaller fighter in the clinches,as the heavier man will be stronger and can lean opn the smaller guy wearing him out. Ali was a past master at this.

As for Enzo,Ill be very interested to see if he can get down to 175,even if he drains himself down.

Also hes a naturaly lanky skinny fighter. Hes nothing like the build of Arreola, even without the fat Arreola would be a bigger more powerfil guy that Enzo.

Its like Paul Williams, hes 6'2 and can boil down to welter, there are very few guy with that build. You cant say, just because Williams id 6'2 and can get down to 147,Sam Peter should be able to get down to 147!

Tyson was the same height as Celestine Cabellero, however for Tyson to fight at 126 or 130,he'd need to fast for a few weeks, and remove some organs!

Not everyone has the same natural build

Yes but it wouldn't be hard for someone like Enzo for example to bulk up and weigh 16 stone with hardly any fat on him, just pure muscle if he wanted to.

At the same time he will find it quite easy to get down to light heavy, he was always well below the cruiser weight limit and he never had to weight drain.

too many pages to read them all...

I don't think peple automatically see a 220lbs HW and think he should drop down to cruiser. The problem is the vast majority of HW's are overweight. When you have a 240lbs overweight fighter it seems unlikely the fighter will go down to cruiser (probably because he can't and his best fighting weight would be around 205-220). But when you have an overweight 220lbs it makes sense to think that getting rid of the excess fat could land him at cruiserweight where he would not only be at his optmial (or close to it) fighting weight, but would also be facing smaller fighters.

From my experience, when people think a fighter could (should) go down to cruiser weight is for their own good. Besides, eventually they can always go back to HW and even attempt to become a two division champion.

  6. Because most people here are mentally ******ed. I could of sworn that Holyfield didn't weigh 250 pounds yet he was able to beat fighters like Riddick Bowe, I could of sworn Holyfield was able to fight Valuev a 7'0 300 pound fighter when he was past his prime and win.

The perfect height and weight for a heavyweight fighter would be 6'2 to 6'5 and between 215 to 250 pounds.

Just because the belts belong to 2 big gay no talent europeans like the Klitschkos dont mean that you have to be that height and weight to be a good fighter.
