Why is Jean Pascal Not Fighting?

i just saw a clip of Pascal sparring (it was recent). He looked like **** trying to pull some fancy crap and do the shoulder roll.

Haven't spoke to him directly but I would assume it's a combination of him being shitty as **** and a *****...that would be my best guess.

 

He could have fought in this time with guys that have a title belt , like : Cloud , Cleverly or Shumenov to have a plus motivation but I think he just wants to be mixed in top fights , i guess.

Also I saw that many people want that Pascal to fight with Ismayl Sillakh .

 

Maybe because he got soundly beat by a 46 year old in his own backyard as the LHW champ.

 

He has fought the best opponents he could get and is 4-2-1 in world title fights :conf

 

Same fighter who schooled Tarver and Pavlik.. And had a very competetive fight against Calzaghe..

 

A ***** ? Pascal has done the best he could with what he had, so far.

 

I love Hopkins, I'm just saying it would definitely have an effect on ME if a guy 20 years older made me look amateurish in front of thousands of my adoring fans.

 

He's eyeing for a Campillo fight. On rds.ca:

We haven't closed the door to a fight against Cloud, but we're looking towards a fight with Gabriel Campillo instead.

The discussions with Cloud stopped because Don King wanted rights on Pascal. The article also says a fight with Campillo will likely be easier to make because Campillo's promoter also promotes Stevenson's next opponent. Yvon Michel also says HBO and Showtime are also interested in the Campillo fight.

He is sure like a lot of fools out there that he gets a title shot at Dawson cause Chad wants to wipe out that stain in his resumé so he is the one waiting in the rocking chair, not B'Nard, but sometimes, yeah sometimes, strange things happen when you put yourself aside. Suppose Hopkins wins and retires and the WBC orders a vacant title fight with someone else other than Jean?...

 

Fighters whose best asset is their stregth and power have normally some troubles with their weight. Muscles grow if you train them all the time.

Pascal has looked a bit drained in his couple of last fights..

 

Why not Pascal v Mikkel Kessler, although I'm sure neither would give up home advantage right now.
