With all of the money being thrown out there to even be an opponent, you would think Franklin would have been keeping active all this time but it’s been over a year since his last fight. Did he retire?

Last I heard he was tied up in a couple of lawsuits with both his manager and promoter, so until all that legal stuff is cleared up I doubt any major promoter wants to risk doing business with Franklin.

That is such a pain, how many decent fighters have lost years in their career to management disputes, and even where they don't lose years, they normally can't perform as well as they otherwise could.

I hope he gets it sorted and gets some good fights, he deserves it after his performances against Joshua and Whyte.

Would be a very good test for Itauma personally, Frankin is a decent gatekeeper that gives a good measure for HWs.

AJ and Whyte victim pulled from nowhere for their rebuilds. Did go the distance with AJ and honestly Whyte v Franklin is super underrated I remember him pushing a prime Whyte hard
