why is he? & so much favour to defeat more proven Parker. ? he is easy to hit . he is slow . almost 37 age . moves like the ' woodentop "" on string puppet best win is Dubois. a " green ' novice quit & Jennings on the points decision
I like Joyce as a boxer, he goes forward like a bull but has defensive flaws and is easy to hit but I still think he should beat Parker...
Because he is British and has a decent chin, which is very unusual as Brits are known to be very chinny.
Aside from the things mentioned about him being a good HW who hasn't shown his limits yet..... Other things have fallen into place nicely to result in him naturally ranking high enough up there. Whyte, Ortiz, Ruiz Jr, Parker, Pulev have all taken losses recently, some of them are finished or at least on the way out.... Joshua and Wilder have both been proven not to be at the very top end in their recent fights and Joyce is probably the best unbeaten man who still has more to show and is an unknown quantity up at the very top so far. It's his time coming real soon, so to speak
he blitzed wilders go to madatory ive always said joe is the goods i remember 4 years or so ago i said joe walks through wilder most laughed not so much any more and i stand by that statement the other statement i stand by is wilder will never fight him ever
Joyce is a top fighter but he's flavour of the month. If Fury or AJ were to beat him in there next fights for example.... people will soon criticise the win and say Joyce was never good in the first place and hasn't beaten anyone of note blah blah
He's been overrated ever since he beat a one-dimensional British-level Daniel Dubois. If the scorecards and referee are fair Parker will beat him. Joyce is slow as hell and has a poor defence which he makes up with an iron chin. He hasn't beaten one top 20 heavyweight yet.
Same reason Wilder is/was, he's got power. Unlike Wilder, he's slower but more of a technical fighter with a better jab.
