Why is Joe Slapslappy so overrated on this site?

    all he did was throw pitter patter punches, and he fought mostly past prime fighters. i seen posters on ESB say he can beat Kovalev... stupid... there has not been one LHW who hits that hard in over 50 years besides Betterpower. i think kovalev would easily knock the "pride of slaps" out. super hans where u at?

    Everyone knows Slappy Joe is a joke. I showed people his career highlights and they couldn't stop laughing. Slappy Joe is pure comedy gold.

    If anything, he's an excellent comedian.

    A better question would be why are so many posters still so obsessed with a guy they apparently don't rate?

    There are 10x as many new threads trashing the Welshman as there are hyping him up. He retired quite a while ago. It's amazing that he still inspires such a reaction to people.

    You haters are stupid. I'm not even a huge Calzaghe fan but I know maintaining a titles and reaching a 46-0 record is something special. His work rate (amount of punches thrown) is definitely unique.

    These hypothetical match ups are always based on seeing these guys fail (mayweather, calzaghe, golovkin, u guys get it)

    He ain`t, one of the greatest ever. His record speaks for itself. The Yanks have never forgiven him for his 12 round humiliation Lacy and many board members ended up sorely embarrassed with their predictions of Calzaghes destruction.

    It`s the green eyed monster Sugar. They dislike him so much they can`t bring themselves to admit how great he was and are reduced to making juvenile comments. :D
