Here is a theory. John's early losses to Suarez and Lopez might have came back to haunt him. Also John John lost to ODLH in 95. After this he had a 9 fight winning spree against , Reels, E Perez, Balboa, Crayton, Cruz, Quiroz, Negron, James and A Perez. Then lost to Mosley and Robert Garcia. I believe he had another run with 4 of the 7 fights going to the cards then ultimately lost to Juan Lazcano. At this point there was no rebound for Molina. Great fighter without a doubt though.
That first fight with Lopez was a robbery...the DLH one questionable but not a robbery..the Garcia one I heard it was a robbery...
