Thats probably a haters way of looking at it.. Also AJ was ahead on the cards and looking like a SD win if anything. If he had a terrible chin he wouldn't have got up and if he had a terrible gas tank he wouldn't have had the power to finish the fight.
Wilder is the American GGG, a manufactured boogeyman who fights bums and when he steps up, he will be exposed.
How do you know? Molina has a KO over a decrepit Adamek, which old codger does Whyte have a KO over? We know that the featherfisted pastry chef hits way harder than Whyte.
Personally Wilder would get props from me if he beat Takam, AJ, Ortiz, Povetkin, Pulev, Whyte, Parker, Miller, Fury and small credit for Breazeale, Hammer, Chisora, H. Fury, Kownacki, Browne.
Sadly CST80 you have exposed your exaggerated hate for AJ here. Saying Parker beat Takam by a 'wide' margin as a stick to beat AJ with shows this. 9/10 you seem reasoned and credible but emotions seem to turn you irrational with regards Wilder/AJ.
This is the sort of **** im talking about people, this is why i dont give this guy the time of day, talks right out of his ****pipe
That's the with a cherry on top through rose colored glasses way of seeing it. Wlad barely won a round against Fury. Why then did AJ have to dig down to the depths of his soul to pull out a win?
CST making a lot of sense, but again the vast majority of people who drool over Joshua have no sense anyway hence why this discussion is doing roundabouts. It's a close fight, and it could be a case of who lands first. Two powerful punchers with visible flaws in a huge and it's HW Boxing where anything can happen. Throw in the what is at stake for the division and their careers plus US vs UK and a lot more things and there's intense pressure involved in this fight. I don't care how numb you are and how much mindfulness stuff you've engrained, Joshua and Wilder will at some point be extremely nervous which adds to the uncertainty. Given Wilder's volatility and Joshua's mildly better boxing skills and brain he has an added lean on the coin flip so it's maybe 60/40, 65/35 in his favour but not by much more. Joshua is being overrated by his fans incredibly. It's understandable why but it still needs to be pointed out. 9 times out of 10 he gets stopped verus Wlad after he was hurt. It still puzzles me to this why Wlad didn't just go for it. Does he deserve respect for getting up, settling and finishing the job, sure he does but that win was more of a get out of jail win rather than a resounding "here I f*****g am" win that he seems to be selling as does every casual Boxing fan.
Wlad Fury was closer than what your suggesting but also different styles different fights. Fury causes anyone at HW problems with his style.
Lucky for you I like you, or did like you, otherwise I'd ban you for a week for violating the word filter. You do know I'm a moderator on this site right? Don't do that **** again, or I will.
Speaking of word filter... You should probably warn Jake just above for his... To keep things fair and all...
I was going to, but he didn't go all out and stupidly quote me with his violation. @Jake LaMotta Rein in the word filter violation attempts too.
