if his opponent doesn't play ball by coming forward, Marquez is pretty tedious to watch. be honest.

I don't think these usual agenda-driven posters realize they are actually bringing down their favorite fighters by tearing down JMM.

Marquez is not an ATG. He is a sure fire, great HOF'er, however. I'm pretty sure most people acknowledge this.

There are many reasons why Marquez is viewed as great. Many...

he ducked Provodnikov. he ducked Naz as well, but people try to make out it was the other way round. Juan was the mandatory for two years until he was stripped of his position due to refusing to fight him.

I agree 100 percent with you. Besides Pacman and losing to Mayweather, his resume is overrated completely. He handpicks easier fights and then fights Pacman.

Marquez had the opposition there ready to fight him, but he chose to avoid. Kov and Golov don't have those offers there for them, so it's a bit different.

Marquez was the one getting run over and ready to be taken out. but he pulled that right hand out of the bag and scored the stoppage.

Marquez is now happy to run for the hills and not see Pac ever again. even though Pac gave him 4 chances.

oh i agree he was pretty much done. no, i was just saying that Marquez getting the win was legit. a poster said that Barrera was robbed in the fight.

Marquez earned those rematches. Getting knocked the f*ck out does not earn you a rematch. You don't see any one claiming robbery for the 4th fight. Many felt jmm won the first 3 fights.

Donaire cant even sell a PPV card.
Marquez has generated over 1 million PPV's in fights against Floyd, Pac, Barrera.

Bradley barely beat JMM, and the fight was close.

Alexander has not won 4 world titles, fought in 17 world title fights, and has not KO'd Pac , so what has Alexendar accomplished???:huh:think

JMM is far better than all those mentioned.

You haters are just jealous, because he's Mexican with lots of credentials.

The fact of the matter is that JMM (although having a great win) doesn't deserve to be ranked up there pound for pound. Posters on this site are happy to point out 'duckweathers' lack of competition and happy to discredit Pacquiao for calling catchweights, happy to discredit Cotto for his win over 'shot' Martinez, calling Khan for his weak chin but mention nothing about his ambition, discredit Hatton for losing to two of the best of this generation and slag off Klitschko for being too defensive and hugging. Well if thats the case, you HAVE TO BE CONSISTENT WITH YOUR OUTRAGE! You cannot pick and choose who to discredit and who to favour because if you do, you are mimicking the exact same thing that Floyd apparently does for fighting.

Marquez although a fantastic fighter and a master technician, simply doesn't have the resume to fill his enormous shoes the fans have given him. Besides Pacquiao, his resume sucks! With a man of his ability and hype around him, he SHOULD be beating guys like Bradley and John.

Ever heard of circular reasoning? Look it up. Pac fans use him as a guy who is amazing, yet when it reflects over other results then its because he had a bad day at the office. If a guy with his abilities has a frequent 'bad day at the office'... well guess what... he might not be as good as he is suppose to be.
