Fantastic! Well done for completely ignoring my point. Congratulations! To me, you are now just redundant protoplasm who cannot hold a credible opinion. You just won that award. You are the bottom rung on every ladder. You have an argument from ignorance.

I think hes a bit overrated, and has been since the 2nd Pac fight, imo.

His resume outside of Pac, a prime Salido (underrated win), and Diaz, isnt really up to par for the legend his fans make him out to be.

Not saying hes not a great fighter, he is. But I just think hes fairly overrated. In terms of general rating amongst fans, in terms of actual ability, and in terms of what hes done.

It all has to do with the Thread Titles' topic.

You created this thread asking why is JMM rated so high?

I answered with many facts, and high PPV buys is one of many reasons that JMM is highly rated.

JMM is a big draw, because he's a very well skilled fighter that has fought the best competition out there and has beaten most of the best competition.

That is one of the reasons as to why JMM is highly rated.

All the organizations have JMM in their top 10 P4P list.

JMM never brags that he's one of the besr P4P fighters.

JMM just goes out there and takes care of business.

JMM KO's Pac, KO's Juan Diaz, beats Marco Barrera by Dec, is a good resume.

JMM tried to fight Morales & Barrara in the early years (1999-2002) and both ducked him.

    ,,

    It wasn't lucky punch.

JMM measured Pac chin and waited for Pac to come forward before JMM landed his right punch.

I agree he's a tad overrated but a GREAT boxer. And who would you replace him on the p4p lists with? The big 4 at welter right now are floyd, pac, marquez and (arguably) timmy... name someone to replace those 4 right now based on talent and resume.

what does being a fan of floyd have to do with thinking jmm has a better resume than devon alexander or donaire?

trying to make a case for either over jmm is ridiculous imo....

Its a good resume, but not warranting of the stature hes held in amongst the industry.

We obviously disagree. Its all good.

I find it ironic *******s laughing about Jmm fighting "Baby Bull" Diaz when Pacman ends up fighting weakest lightweight champ David Diaz. Casamayor was old, but still fresh off his beating upset of Katsidis and was Ring Lightweight Champ, Diaz only once beaten by a prime Campbell, and yet Pacman took on the weakest champ David Diaz! *******s making themselves look ******ed, never fails!:patsch:lol:

Homeboy, Marquez resume is not all that impressive unless you are counting the greats Freddie Norwood or Chris John. If not for the Manny fights and his new found PEDs power, Marquez is OVERRATED. You know this. I have to laugh when dudes try and make Marquez into more than what he is. A fighter who looked good against Manny and like total sucker against Floyd. Marquez is now a roid using fraud.

he has a win over salido too that seems to look better by the year....

"if not for the manny fights".....yeah except he does have those fights....and a fight with floyd on his resume too...

i dont know if some of you count resumes as simply wins....i consider it a full body of work.....even in losses.....some of the *******s want to talk up timmy bradley like hes a ****in ATG....so he has a close loss to tim bradley as well.....his resume is very good.....now just on wins...maybe it doesnt stack up to some......but jmm is a very damn good fighter....and to dismiss him as anything less is dumb as ****

According to you, 'the industry" holds him in high regards but you disagree with their opinion.

    Guess where your opinion stands:think

Yep.. just like how JMM fought a big hitter prime casamayor and a young champion in barrera..
A case can be made for donaire having a better resume than jmm.

Not hating, but its a come back fight for floyd and floyd is already a big name during that time. Even if floyd fought a journeymen, it would still break 1M in PPV.

What is the PPV number on marquez bradley fight?
