Because there are 2 major factors in mind when choosing an opponent. Risk and reward.

I don't think think there's anyone else in WW other than Khan who poses such little risk and offers such a high reward at the same time. It's a dream fight for Brook; he can't find anything like this in his career.

I mean Brook knows Khan will out box him and has said it himself Khan is a very very good fighter but he thinks he can KO him and that's all his gameplan trying to KO Khan lool, his whole career was built to get too Khan, he been talking about Khan for years while fighting bums, and while Khan been fighting in U.S defending 2 world titles with the likes of Paulie, Zab , Maidana, at the age of 22 to 25, then his losses to the likes of PEDerson a home cooking fight and Garcia a young unbeaten world champion.

Brook thinks his jab and hold win over Porter and winning a title gets him the Khan fight, Khan is right Brook need to come to the U.S and prove he is a world class fighter, then hopefully next year they can fight..

You ever just wanted to beat somebodies ass. That's what Brook wants to do to Khan. He doesn't like anything about Khan and wants to tear him down. That's good enough for me. War Brook!

no the fight is huge in the UK and it is irrelevant what the fight means to the US market.

khan just keeps moving the goal posts. 101 excuses not to fight kell brook.

funny thing is that the boxing fans are not supporting khan on this. he is fooling nobody.

"Brook wanted to leach off Khan's hard work"

If that's the case then didn't Khan leach off Judah's hard work? No, he just fought a good fighter. Just like Brook wants to fight a good fighter in Khan.

You're basically saying Brook should fight guys with no good wins on their record because if he does he's leaching off their victories?

Khan is fighting the weakest opposition he can get away with HOPING that if he get no more losses he'll get Floyd next. Brook is trying to EARN a fight with Floyd/Manny winner by fighting a credible opponent which is Amir Khan.

Brook vs Khan = 80,000 in Wembley, a million UK ppv buys, biggest pay day for both of them with Khan getting £5m, and a world title which the winner of Floyd vs Manny will surely want to win to unify the division.

    Khan is Brook's biggest payday.

First time Brook will venture into a £1 million purse

People always say speed is king but accuracy is far more important. Khan has speed and Brook has the slick moves and accuracy. To me that makes it a genuine pick um 50/50 fight and very attractive domestic fight. Throw in these guys used to spar together and Khan bad mouths Brook about it you have a 80.000 plus Wembley audience. If Brook lost he knows he can come again Khan cant afford another loss. It is very intriguing.

Because he's being realistic and not delusional like Khan. There isn't a solid "this is who's up next" after Floyd and Manny fight each other. Brook wants to put in the real work while Khan just wants to deal with the likes of Algieri and get a handout

The reason he is calling out khan is simply money
there has been a bit of a domestic rivalry for years, think it came from an interview with khan about brook, where he said he whooped brooks ass in sparring, then brook said the opposite, and its spiralled from there

The answer in one word to that question eventhough Kell Brook isn't a devastating puncher is:

    This. :deal

There are so many reasons why this fight should happen but Khan is afraid of losing to Kell because it could end his career and Khan is just holding out for a Floyd fight.

If he was as confident in beating Kell as he says he is, he should beat Kell in front of 90k people at Wembley, earn a lot of money, earn the respect of the British fans and become IBF champ which would also make him a leading contender to fight Floyd/Manny but he won't, he just keeps making excuse after excuse.

The dichotomy! If Khan himself isn't credible enough to earn a Mayweather vs Pacquaio winner. Then how is beating Khan (someone not credible) credible enough to get a shot at p4p?
Is Khan a manufactured weak chin fighter or he isn't?

Brook has ONE decent win at the world level. That is, in 33 fights he has stepped up to the world level ONCE. He is afraid to do so against someone else because he has no faith in his own ability.

Why hasn't Brook called out Maidana? Maidana has more credibility than Khan since he gave Mayweather a relatively difficult fight?
Brook will not fight someone like Maidana like Khan did, because Brook knows if he loses, he turns into a one hit wonder.

So, no Brook is not trying to Earn anything other than $$$ with the safest fight!
