Why is Khan getting credit for just being an OPPONENT yet Chisora never does

Khan is just basically like at smaller version of Chisora with a far worse chin. He loses anytime he faces anyone who's not past it. They both usually lose.

Chisora has faced way better opposition and way more bigger punchers

    Vitali Klitschko
    Tyson Fury x 2
    David Haye
    Kubrat Pulev
    Dillian Whyte x 2
    Robert Helenius
    Carlos Takam
    Agit Kabayel
    Malik Scott
    Danny Williams
    Kevin Johnson
    Edmund Gerber
    Sam Sexton x 2

He was also signed to face Wladimir Klitschko .

And I'm sure Chisora would have won a 'world title' had he been in a weak division with pass the parcel belts, and had a mediocre feather fisted fighter like Kotelnik in his division or a totally past it Judah.

Yet Khan is bizzarely getting credit for cashing his chin in and being a 'opponent' cause we all know he has zero chance.

Probably because a lot of his career he has come in unfit, out of shape, borderline chubby whereas at least Khan always comes in bang in shape and done the work.

Also Khan at his peak was/is levels above Chisora at one point he looked brilliant, even after the shock Prescott loss, he built himself back up, beat Maidana in a bit of a war, Maliganini, Judah then obviously Danny Garcia annihilated him. The thing is Khan is a great technical boxer but his chin isn't but he has the potential to beat 99% of people but obviously he always gets caught whereas every type Chisora steps up he isn't even in the fight

Khan has won a world title before and was at one point IIRC ranked as a top two LWW so I suppose that gives him a little more pedigree and creates the illusion for some people that he could do it again unlike Chisora who has never won a world title or been a top 5 HW.

Because Khan has won meaningful fights, Chisora has 0 meaningful wins

Because Khan is not usually outskillbut just gets hurt and stopped, Chisora has been outskilled at European level multiple times

Because Khan has more boxing ability in his left nut than Chisora does in his whole body

I can keep going if you want

This. You must be reading a different forum because most people respect Chisora and give him plenty of credit here.

Dereck Chisora is in my top 10 British heavyweights off all time, dont care what anyone else thinks, Del Boy is the man!!

The difference is Chisora never pretended or talked himself up to be world class elite level fighter. He just got down to business and accepted any fights which came his way.

Khan on the other hand likes to pretend and strut around as if he is the level of Mayweather and co when at best he is B level fringe contender.

Chisora should have wins over prime Helenius and Whyte in the first fight.

Chisora has a far better chin than Khan so it evens up. No chance Chisora would ever be KO'd in 50 seconds by a Colombian taxi driver of the level of Prescott.
Malignaggi is not a good win he's was a mediocre feather fisted fighter, and Judah was totally past it

Like I said Chisora was in a division where a HOF ATG heavyweight Wladimir Klitschko was extremely dominant and there was Vitali Klitschko, Povetkin, Haye, etc.

If there was a Andreas Kotelnik level fighter holding a belt at heavyweight, Chisora would have been a 'world champion' no doubt about it.

Khan is multi flawed boxer with an awful chin, he benefitted from being in an extremely weak pass the parcel division where guys like Gavin Rees, Souleymayne M'baye, Junior Witter, Lovemore N'dou, Juan Urango and many more poor fighters were world champions.

Khan gets very little credit thesedays. He's a joke figure amongst hardcore and casuals.
