Udk why but i still wanna c this fight even though they are both comming of two losses in a row. Its got fan friendly written all over it. But considering khan and ortiz are both gettin with defence minded coaches in hunter and mayweather sr does anyone think this fight could become a snoozer clinchfest if it ever goes down? This fight was being made out like oscar tito a few years back when they were both steam rolling guys, but now it seems to have lost its spark. Thoughts?

They're two of the most dramatic fighters in recent years.

Dramatic in the ring. They've been in some of the most talked about fights on these forums over the past several years (Khan/Maidana, Ortiz/Maidana, Khan/Prescott, Ortiz/Berto, Khan/Peterson, Ortiz/Mayweather, Khan/Garcia, Ortiz/Lopez).

Dramatic out of the ring too. Khan is a princess with a huge fanbase who says a lot of stupid things whereas Ortiz is just crazy and stupid.

The pre fight build up would be cringe

Can you imagine the two of them trying to scrape some sort of banter or trash talking together, Jesus

This is a logical fight to make at some point it better happen when khan moves to 147

I think it would be a respectsble build up. From what ive seen there is a mutual respect between them. But i can imagine ortiz saying something stupid like ( u can chop a tree down but it will grow back" n khan bein like wtf?!?!

Ortiz has the power to KO Khan
Khan has the skills to outbox Ortiz

Khan destroyed a confident Ortiz in Amatuers

You know that saying "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object"?

Well what happens when wet tissue paper meets a pretzel

It's not always about putting the best in with the best.
Sometimes it's about making match ups that should result in good fights.

They have history from amateurs. both have been in exciting fights. Both can be beat.
