me thinks warren wanted to make as much money as he could out of khan, hence PPV,he knew after his last few fights he was full of ****,so put him in with a banger, who has beat in his last fight a unbeaten cuban, and a couple more unbeaten boys, also warren has the rights on prescotts next few fights,so win or lose he is gonna win.
oh,i don't like khan cos he is a cocky, big headed overhyped twat,he and his family walk around bolton like they own the place

Most of the biggest haters of Khan, are also huge haters of Hatton, and increasingly turning up the hate on Haye. Perhaps it's partly to do with something those three all have in common.

I used to be a Khan fan, but have never been a fan of Hatton. He seems a decent bloke though, although he can be quite deluded at times.
I'm a big Haye fan however, even though he's cocky as **** I like him.

he thinks hes better than he is.. and hes saying stuf like "im above domestic level now" - then he goes and gets destroyed by an unknown columbian

hes still saying hes got more skills than prescott, and that he'd beat him in a rematch.. hes lost the plot

I don't like his disrespectful attitude but it's always been the unwarrented hype for me and joe public buying into it all.

There are many world champions out there who haven't earned half as much money as Amir Khan does anyone think that is even remotely fair?

I bet the likes of Kevin Mitchell were secretly laughing their asses off when he got knocked out knowing that they might get a fair crack at some publicity now.

    How is this Khans fault?

Anyway it comes off the back of him winning himself an Olympic medal.

Do you think Degale will get the same treatment then ? I don't....

I don't think it is all Khans fault tbh but him and his 'team' are the ones who were making the stupid fckn quotes, trying to fool Joe Public into thinking he was something he isn't but they aren't bothered cos they have raked it in. He has done nothing but disrespect other british fighters saying things like I am above domestic level now..... what a *****.

That is why I nearly died laughing on the living room floor on sat night, CLASS !

The amatures are guaranteed a fair old amount to stay amateur now. Yea I should think he's been made a decent offer to turn pro as well..

Having said that, after Audley, and Khans performances the value of British Olympic medallists is bound to not be what it was.

Very true mate, I think all hopes we had of our olympic medalists going on and doing well in the pros have all but dissapeared with sat night performances. I didn't see 'a farce' but heard it was pretty dour stuff........again.

IMO; the problem for Amir is Naseem Hamed.

The general public do not as a rule like flash, vulgar, arrogant people, even when they can back it up; and Naseem generally did.

So when another potential top class Asian fighter came around, he had to deal with the perception that he was another Naseem, with all the negativity that comes with that, and because of his lack of a resume, little of the good.

The reality was Amir came across in the Olympics (without the spin) as a humble nice kid. But when the pro boxing got to him, the promotion they gave him turned him into seemingly arrogant *****.

Warren would do well to look at the past, arguably the most popular fighter of the last 30 years (Frank Bruno) built his career on beating bums, but got away with it because he was spun as a bumbling fool, with his classic 'you know what I mean 'arry?' And his 'I'm going to go on 'oliday to top up me tan now 'arry!'

I am guessing that if Amir Khan started acting like Amir Khan and not 'Sports Network's' Amir Khan he might start getting the publicity he needs to rebound strong from this set back.

I dont hate him, he doesnt register on my radar enough for that. I think he needs to take his head out of his arse though. Even after getting starched in 50 seconds on saturday he's still doing interviews on sunday saying he'll be a world champion within 12months. Theres nothing wrong with ambition but these ridiculous time lines he keeps promising are idiotic and this is another one that he wont be able to back up.

Maybe that's why he's not improving, maybe he genuinely believes he's better than Manny, Casa etc and just has to turn up to win, it'd certainly explain a lot of things.

Good Point... I never really focused on that side of it.... but come to think of it.....very true....

most of the people I know who have only a side interest in the Sport.... always bring his name up with Naseem Hamed.... and all they remember about Hamed is he was Cocky, thedriving incident, he was beaten (once) and is now pretty fat..... Little do they know.... that the only similarity between Khan and Hamed were there skin colour..... That's where the similarity stop.... They don't even originate from the same part of the world (Pakistan and Yemen)......

I think you make a very valid point and most Brits seem to always link him with Hamed..... and then a lot of negativity has already been put in their mindset..... Khan didn't help himself by driving his BMW into an old man and then not providing paperwork at a later date.... Just made him look even more like he thought he was "above the law"
