Why is Khan so Hated/Disliked by Brits?

What I really dont get is the whole infatuation some of these minorities (in this case Khan) have with England.. you're a joke if you put on a flag of a country where probably 60% f the people dont think of you as a true citizen. Take off that Union Jack and get on with life and stop worrying about why no one likes you.

Is he any more hated than Hatton or Calzaghe? Hamed and Lewis when they were active? Bull-****ing-****. When you are at the top level you get haters, period. Black white or purple thats the case. He filled out an arena tonight and is on PPV, if nobody likes the ****er how has he become a multi-millionaire? If any fighter thinks he can have no critics he's already burying his head in the sand.

 

I really don't see this "hate", the guy doesn't have the best chin but whats that got to do with it?

I am only on here cause I think its a laugh that a bunch of people are making excuses for hating a dude when its pretty obvious to me what the real reason is... in fact its obvious to most anyone... I take pleasure (joy) in pointing out the obvious and while you scramble with excuses about "over hype" and "punch resistance"
How overhyped was Ricky Hatton? Was\is he universally hated?

 

Go look at some other British message boards, its lot worse than here. Try perusing the BBC boards...

That would be tarring everyone with the same brush, mate. Just because one wanker thinks/ says something racist, it doesn't mean everyone else agrees with the ****.

 

Its not about "critics" every fighter has critics, Khan is disliked I would say by a majority of English fight fans. I'm just calling the bull**** where I see it.

 

Khan sold out the arena, was cheered, he is actually pretty loved. But posters like Top Dog exacerbate matters, posting a 'if i was white, I'd be a superstar' thread in the general forum, not really necessary.

 

Go check out the message boards when Hatton got flattened against Pac. **** happens and the Internet can bring the worst out in people but that no reason to judge a whole ****ing nation.

 

I hated Hatton worse than I dislike Khan.

And for the same reason - his plastic hangers-on are tools.

He is not disliked by most fight fans. He has a few fans, some haters and the rest are pretty neutral who give him credit when it's due.
