Why is Khan so unpopular?

Khan is still young, his defence has always been atrocious and that has left his chin exposed too much. Trust me, Khan's chin aint as bad as ppl say it is. Think Wild Card will make him a much rounded fighter with his defence strenthened.

I just find it strange why ppl won't give this chap a chance. Whats with all the slating? He's still young and he's still at the beggining end of his pro career. I think he deserves more support from the brits.

 

Just Jealousy due to him being OVERPAID and hasnt faced anyone of merit yet to earn that amount of money yet? .....same as lewis hamilton he gets battered an'all cos he's about fifteen and gets paid 300 mill a week to drive a car round a track!!!!!!!!!

 

I was thinking that based on other posts too.
So its not just me then who's noticed this.

yeah its the old build them up and knock'em down. It's sad really, its the same mentallity they have against their footballers. Paid too much.

All i can say is, you haters can get paid big money too if you got what it takes to be a pro sportsman.

 

Hatton and Calzhage began their career as hype jobs, there's no denying that. I'm not saying they finnished their career in that way. Although some may argue. Anyone that start their career with Wank gets the special treatment.

 

Khan didn't even dominate the domestic scene and avioded John Thaxton like the plauge. He now gets a world title shot after beating a bloated, old, shot MAB.

When he was fighting chain smoking mechanics he had the oppertunity but he didn't take it.

 

Part of the problem is that people are weary of hype jobs after the Fraudley affair.

yeah well u would't be too excited or dedicated to a fight if u had to share a ring with these chain smoking mechanics. But in the end he did take it and look where its got him? he even got knock out by a turd in the process and still manage to get a shot at the world championship.
