Why is Khan so unpopular?

    What? I would not put it past Roach to take Khan farther than most expect. Khan's chin is the only doubt I have about him. His natural ability is obviously there and he's got the Roach to mold it.

    i would completely dispute that he is unpopular, in fact i would say he is the most popular fighter in britain after hatton, even though we have froch and haye and calzaghe who have accomlished far more than he has, he is the single biggest draw in british boxing after hatton, he has a degree of unpopularity among some hard-core boxing fans for the way he has gone about certain things - ducking thaxton, and getting a title shot without in any way deserving it for instance, and it has absolutely nothing to do with race
