We're in 2016 and he's now fought 11 times this decade, and most of those have been against guys who are well past their best (Malignaggi, Collazo, Judah, Alexander) or just **** (McCloskey, Diaz, Chaves). Meanwhile he's also lost twice on that run. The only credible wins he has since an excellent performance against Kotelnik in 2009 are Maidana, who very nearly KOed him, and Algieri. I'm not sure why he feels entitled to sit around waiting for a Mayweather or Pacquaio.
People have a tendency to overrate the hell out of the skill level and overall abilities of fast fighters. The elite fighters who are fast have much more to their game than just speed.
