Why is Khan still trying to make 140? It's pointless.

I dunno who'd win nthis fight but let's face it, Khan's win last night ranks alongside anything Brook has done.

 

Exactly. He has the lip to accuse Brook of fighting no-marks who have no chance of winning. Brook's last 3 opponents were all better than that Molina bloke. Naturals at the weight too.

 

It's hard to believe what Khan says regarding his weight. One moment he says he's struggling, the next he says he's making it easily, and then he goes back to saying he's finding it difficult :roll:.

I reckon he should stay exactly where he is for the time being. Only move up when his body is naturally ready for it - something which Virgil said, too. Dude comes in on fight night no more than 150. The welterweights who sometimes come in as high as 160 would crush him. He's not built for that weight.

 

He comes in on fight night weighing no more than 150 because the day before he weighed in at 139.75 lbs.... if he steps up he will weigh more naturally come fight night... but yes, he does need to work his way there.. he's fine at 140 for now..

 

I think it is harder for him but there's a lot more money to be made for him at 140. I think he wants one superfight before moving to 147.

Faster yes, technical no. Throwing fast combinations isn't technical. Being technical is knowing how and when to throw them and delivering them correctly.

Being technical is knowing your way around the ring no matter what position your opponent is in, in relation to you...and being defensively able.

Bradley isn't the greatest in any of these departments but he's pretty well tuned into all of them and that's his secret. That is why he doesn't ever look spectacular yet always wins and never looks vulnerable.

 

lol, you're shitting on Khan for taking an easy opponent after 2 defeats, whilst propping Brook up for basically fighting complete no marks for years?, ****ing wow. Khans resume shits all over Brooks, even if he beats Alexander next year.

 

No, I'm shitting on Khan because for so long acting he's acted so high and mighty, claiming he'd never fight the sort of opponents that Brook has faced yet he then goes and fights somebody even WORSE than Brooks opponents. Get out of Khan's arse.

If Khan's as great as he likes to claim he is he shouldn't have to resort to fighting bums just to rebuild himself, not matter how many losses he's coming off the back of.

Carl Froch is a perfect example of this. After he was outclassed by Ward he told his promoter that he didn't want any "warm up fights" against easy opponents. They're a waste of time and nobody is really interested. He said he only wanted to fight the toughest opponents available to prove he was still one of the best like he claimed he was. They get him Bute.

Not saying Khan should have got straight himself back into a world title fight against a world champion but he could have picked a MUCH better opponent than Molina. That would have earned mine and many others respect. Not the case though.

 

He made a complete change of trainer and surroundings and suffered two back to back defeats, one by devastating KO. This isn't about being in "Khan's arse", it's about me not being blinded by complete hatred for the guy to see that he needed this fight as a confidence booster to also practise new things he's learnt under new tutelage. He's also back to fighting top ten opponents now. Molina also didn't get KO'd by a jab, I don't see how you can get any worse than that. Get out of Brook's arse.
