Why is Kovalev-Ward considered a robbery when fights like Pac-JMM 2&3 and Hopkins-Calzaghe aren't?

When almost 80 % of the boxing community say Sergey Kovalev really won that fight. I'd have thought it would be Andre Ward pushing for a rematch so he can prove he's the better man & end the controversy.
But not so Wonder why ????

Well Calzaghe soundly won that fight. So that's not even comparable because the right man won. Pac/JMM is a different story

    So are you saying:

    Robert Byrd
    Larry Merchant
    Max Kellerman
    Roy Jones
    Harold Lederman
    Dan Rafael
    Michael Buffer
    Antonio Tarver

    Didn't score the fight objectively?
Or that you were able to score the fight better from your Tv at home than people that have a lifetime in the sport and were up close to the action?

Well that is a shallow reply with little analysis as to why you think you can score better from home and or why you feel a diverse group of experts who were at the event seem to be uniformly in agreement that the wrong man was announced winner. But thank you for the reply butt head.:campeon:

No. Look I've stated this numerous times watching a fight live in person is totally different then watching a fight on your T.v. screen. The angles are different, sometimes their backs are to you, so when you don't see a punch land because you're looking at their back or the ring post is cutting off your view and the crowd is cheering, it's natural to assume the punch landed and score accordingly.

Meanwhile the person at home who saw that same exact moment on T.V. seen the punch miss or get blocked and therefore has a better judgement on who won the round. I bet a lot of the people who scored the fight clearly for Kovalev who were in attendance had a different opinion about it when they watched the replay on T.V. whether they thought Kovalev still won or they swayed the other way. I'd bet they had it a lot closer.
